or have a long soak in the bath
Yup....that's me, too. I love a long bath. I also like to watch lifetime movies or work on my scrapbooking hobby. All of these things cheer me up.
if your jw family upset you, or if you're having "one of those days" (or weeks, or months .
is there anything that you actively do to counter the negative feelings?.
i usually try to go into "look after myself" mode and spend some time alone just relaxing or having a good cry .

BAKER LAKE, Wash.
Aug. 17, 2004 ? Rain-eeeeer .... Bear? When state Fish and Wildlife agents recently found a black bear passed out on the lawn of Baker Lake Resort, there were some clues scattered nearby dozens of empty cans of Rainier Beer. The bear apparently got into campers' coolers and used his claws and teeth to puncture the cans. And not just any cans. "He drank the Rainier and wouldn't drink the Busch beer," said Lisa Broxson, bookkeeper at the campground and cabins resort east of Mount Baker. Fish and Wildlife enforcement Sgt. Bill Heinck said the bear did try one can of Busch, but ignored the rest. "He didn't like that (Busch) and consumed, as near as we can tell, about 36 cans of Rainier." A wildlife agent tried to chase the bear from the campground but the animal just climbed a tree to sleep it off for another four hours. Agents finally herded the bear away, but it returned the next morning. Agents then used a large, humane trap to capture it for relocation, baiting the trap with the usual: doughnuts, honey and, in this case, two open cans of Rainier. That did the trick. "This is a new one on me," Heinck said. "I've known them to get into cans, but nothing like this. And it definitely had a preference." |
when a dog is sick to it's stomach and wants to eat grass, is it okay to let them do so?
does it help them to feel better or make them feel worse?.

Outoftheorg,
I'm sorry your dog is having to go through that. Was it a large rock? Poor doggy...
my first post and topic: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/20/35205/1.ashx - oral sex and of course, i make waves right off :).
my second topic, my introduction: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/35210/1.ashx many life changes since then.
it kind of hurt to read it.
desib77, the demonized dog thread is a real hoot!
That's probably what's making him want to eat grass, too.

Thanks Valis....
I've been letting him eat it when he feels like he needs to but wanted to make sure it wasn't making things worse.

do you remember it?
mine was in the 7th grade by a boy named joe.
it took me by surprise and i was dissapionted, because he tried to swallow my face!
Sadly I didn't have my first kiss until I was 19 years old.....I was a good little JW.
i had this big macho guy who used to work for me and when i would stop by his trailer, (not kidding) to pick him up for work, (dui and again, not kidding) on his way out the door he would give his redhead, stripper girl friend, (see above) a peck on the cheek and walk over to his pit-bull, ( ) and just lavish all manner of love and affection on that big, ugly, and very stupid dog!
i am not making this up!
i would think, "what a looser!".
Guilty...
But my favorite thing to do is say his magic words that get him to tilt his head and look at me. I love that reaction.....It's funny because he can pick these words out even if it is a conversation between my husband and myself. He also accepts other words in place of the real word.
Treat - will accept tree, eat, freak
Greenie (a special treat) - he will accept greenery
As for a man sweet talking his pet....my husband does it and I think it is sweet.
i'm really curious about this subject.
i guess i still tend to think anything strange that happens is demons.
now that i'm trying to be open about other possibilities i'm curious.. have you had any experiences with ghosts or haunted places?
The only thing about that one is that it does seem to be the shape of her face in the shadow.
Very interesting, though.
