  i know most jws are encouraged to take worthless jobs and barely scrape by so as to spend more time in the ministry.

  i was fortunate to have my dad encourage me to do something more with my life than house cleaning.

  i followed in his steps and became a civil draftsman....(draftsperson .

  remember all the cleaning we would be "asked" to do?

  pre-convention, mid-convention, post-convention, kingdumb hall, field service car, assembly hall, the list seems endless.

  what better way to cap off a day of mind-numbing sermons and interviews than by mopping a filthy arena in your best suit?

  The funny thing is that during the assemblies I would have loved to have been cleaning (sometimes I did with my mom) as long as it was during the talks. I remember always asking if I could go with her to help......of course, wouldn't any kid?

  As for KH cleaning I did my fair share of that also. They used to have all of the kids clean the metal part of the seats.........yipee...fun, fun...

  long time no see!.

  i apologize for not posting the last 6 months -- i have been very busy working a new job i got to support myself and my family.. i really have missed everyone, even the people who didn't like me.. i've been preparing some threads (with wt quotes from newer articles), and i will hopefully post them soon.. may the lord jesus christ bless you all!

  My husband and I are watching it, too. I would have to say I like George Huff the best but LaToya is really good, too......I really don't like Fantasia much anymore. I think her reaction to Simon was childish last night and he wasn't even as mean to her as he is to other people.

  i finally got an avatar to work that i thought was really cute and my hubby had to ruin it.....i told him i had decided on thumper and he said.......... is that because you used to be a watchtower thumper????.
