about my hair.....i think i've ruined it.... i tried a home highlighting kit and had a friend do it for me last night.........now i look like a lemon..... i feel horrible and don't want to leave the house....i'm not sure anything can even be done about it.
kind of seems like it fried my hair and bleached strands of it.. just wanted a shoulder(s) to cry on..... desi

Lightening striking liars.......

she then reminded me that she had something similar happen with her hair and that no one would tell her that it looked bad.
she said, "i'm just surprised that jehovah didn't strike them down with lightening for lying to me.

I was on the phone with my mother last night explaining my recent hair mishap and telling her that I've been getting sick. She then reminded me that she had something similar happen with her hair and that no one would tell her that it looked bad. She said, "I'm just surprised that Jehovah didn't strike them down with lightening for lying to me." Oh yeah, right, that happens ALL the time! How stupid! Then she goes on to tell me that if I take a few minutes to read in my Bible that I would start to feel better. I'm sure she meant the NWT, probably wouldn't start to feel better with any other version....
I thought the whole conversation was just stupid....oh, and I guess she wouldn't have minded me getting struck with lightening since I was one of the people who lied to her about her hair to make her feel better...when she brought up the Bible and Jehovah, I just told her I wasn't reading anything....I was going to bed.

My dad is coming to visit from IL. in the end of May. Since his birthday and father's day are both a week or two later I would like to celebrate them with him while he is here. My problem is that he is really hard to shop for. Does anyone have any unique gift ideas?

I just spoke with the "experts" at Clairol about my hair. They told me how to fix it with a color that tones down and counteracts orangish yellow......
I'm just so scared but I know it is going to cost a lot to go to the woman who does my hair to have it fixed. I guess what I'm asking is do you guys think I should trust Clairol?

jw's and holidays
by prgirl79 ini was with a ex-jw for 5 years or shall i say disfellowshipped but still never moved on!
anyways the whole time we were together no birthdays, funerals, weddings (only reception not church), thanksgiving, christmas.
i always felt alone and like i would offend him celebrating these things.
