I remember a friend of mine volunteered to change a diaper (nappy for those who are across the pond). He changed the baby nice and clean.
then he took a new fresh diaper (nappy) out of the box and poured creamed corn on it. He went into the room full of people and said look
I think your baby is sick. "This looks bad" He grabbed a scoop full with his finger and said it "taste bad also" All the women freeked!
And got a spoon and was eating the creamed corn.

They have no control on me. Of Course being on this forum proves that I still think of them.
I am on the out side looking in now. I can see there stupid control techniques thanks to the people that post here.
I still have a few JWs as friends that I can count on one hand. Year after year that count goes down.
In fact I will be losing one of my friends very soon because of there no blood issue!!!!.Very sad!!!

What is WT latest policy

i have been dissassociated for many years.

jws cant get in my yard have 6ft locked fence (witness protection program) (really it's about keeping my animals safe).

my mom is 89 and more hooked than ever.

If your mother will not talk to you, perhaps you can go through the "back door" your brother.
My folks were the same way with my brother. They shunned him. But I was able to to help my brother to communicate to me and then I passed the info to my mother.
My parents did open up to my brother when they got really sick. Like nursing home sick.
Even through my brother was shunned for years he was very kind with mom and dad.(He never brought up the past)
I have been your shoes before. My self and the folks here will support you.

Holding hands during prayer.

i think it is like a cult or some pagan practice.

now that i am out of the box looking in, i find this practice weird.

Yes I remember my dad used to make a big deal about praying at restaurants. It always imbarest me.
