The slow trickle has become a steady stream!
by freddo inin the last few weeks it seems that instead of one or two new posters a week we seem to be getting several every day.
many seem to be long time jw's who are troubled by the path of the organisation.
this is really encouraging to those of us who have been here sometime.. welcome!

Honeymoon over for the carts
by Deltawave inspeaking with inlaws i another congregation today who said exactly what is being said in our own hall.
the trolly work is long and boring and no one even notices they are there anymore but walk right on by.
jehovah really is speeding up the work lol.

In my town I see the carts at the train/bus depot and the county court house campus. Some times I recognize them so I give them a wide berth . However in downtown Seattle am with my daughter and I walk up to them and ask them if they are Mormons. They say say no " were are JW"s. But I just go on and on about the Mormons and how I think they are the same. Meanwell my daughter is pulling on my arm saying Dad stop it ,lets go. -

Brooklyn news on sending the elderly packing
by I am a Bible Student injohnny the bethelite on this program talks about the older bethelites being targeted by watchtower.they are getting rid of those at bethel who are 65-87 years old, some being anointed even the widows of former governing body members who gave decades of loyal service time to the watchtower organization.. the reasons the very elderly are being expelled are money in that for their age range they cost so much to cloth, fed, and medicate, having problems from high blood pressure to dementia.

I think this is disgusting, inhuman on many accounts and unchristian.
I know Watchtower reads these treads. I am going to tell this story to a talk radio Host. This will get national attention. So Watchtower read my lips
Please give these seniors the respect they deserve. Give them the dignity to live out there lives inconfort.
If I hear no change in your policy I will go public.

If you go to a restaurant and leave a Watchtower instead of a tip
If your watching a movie and see an aerial shot of the Brooklyn Bridge you look for the Watchtower buildings and this will create a warm fuzzy feeling in you.

when you went to an "assembly" did you wear a badge?

when i was young my folks made me wear one and i opened it up and took the paper out making it look like it fell out.
after my folks ask what happen i said i dont know.

Just to add, we would go home every day because we lived near by. My mom would go to the grocery store with her badge on. I was about 10 at the time and it would embarrass me.
