One of the bad things about Arie is he moved to Hawaii and took his life. I still like to meet someone on this forum that is near me. (western Wa state) I think it would be great to meetup with someone in my area. I know there is a campout in California but thats to far for me to travel. -

When I get that memorial invitation in the door, it sends chills up my spine. The way I was treated with hurtful gossip. Now I just spit on it and throw it away. That has been 24 years now since i gone. -

Did you get " Counseled " about the Music you Listened to While you were a JW ?
by flipper infrom the time i was a small boy - i loved rock n' roll music.
beatles, rolling stones, led zeppelin, hendrix.
i started getting slighted for the music i listened to as i lay in my bedroom listening on headphones to led zeppelin's song " black dog " at age 14 with my elder dad looking suspiciously at me as i'm rocking out .

In my day back in the 60's and 70's Parents had to look for the record (vinyl). Some times they were hard to hide especially if you had a hundred or so. Now the kids have there music on the cloud.(itunes Pandora ETC).This is password protected now . Things have sure changed. -

In the mid 60s I loved to listen to Led zep. I played whole lot of love so loud my parents can hear it down the street. Wow they broke the record. My folks listened to lawrence welk music. I always thought when I get old I will hate rock and roll and love lawrence welk. Guess what I am old and still like rock. I play it loud in my Jeep and at home. My kids think am a cool dad at 65.
So Jeff T I did a search for King Crimson on DEEZER music service, I found it.
That brought back memories
Just to add I hated when there was a "sister" who said not to listen to Carlos Santana because "Santana" means Satin. So sick
