  NEW RELIGION! NEED INPUT!

  this is sort of a take-off of the "what should the wt do" thread.. i need to get together a board of directors and elect a president and officers.

  we need to figure out a doctrine, a manifesto, and a set of disciplinary rules.

  we need to figure out a way to fund our new movement.

  Advantages of being a JW

  clearly there is a great deal of anti-jw sentiment here and elsewhere for that matter.

  such feelings are generally directed at those at the heart of the organisation and there are no such feelings for the rank and file who are often very genuine people.. in actual fact there are some advantages in being a fully loaded jw and to be fair it would be interesting to note them down.

  they can be factual or whimsical or both.

  Pinky and Perky were two little pigs, with little high pitched squeaky voices, they were in a pupet show on TV but they also released a few records.

  How do you feel about smacking at K Hall?

  personally, it upsets me very much.

  or are there any other parents that found better, alternative ways of getting young children 'trained'?.

  i am not anti -smacking by the way,(except at the kh) but it is always the very last resort.. latte

  I remember someone telling me about a kid in their hall, that had been playing up all through the meeting and his parents kept threatening to take him for a smack, eventually he was taken out, but as they were walking out he yelled 'Please Jehovah help me' so everyone heard. Now what do you do after that?

  We sometimes got frowned upon, because we used to let Liam take a few little cars to the meeting, but at least he had something to do and we weren't dragging him outside every few minutes.
