  i thought it would be neat if we could see what each others canine, feline, avian, etc.companions look like.... .

  here's my love, her name is chelsea, she is 9-1/2 years, and i have had her since she was 8 weeks old.

  she is a golden lab mix, thus i affectionately call her "mutt butt" .

  how sorry i was to hear from dansk-he is going through a very difficult time.. i would like all prayers, thoughts, please keep this in mind ____ for me!!!!.

  the sad news he has cancer.it is lymphoma!!!

  they are waiting on the results of the biopsy before determining treatment..... he didnt want me to say anything at first- as he feels you all have your own problems & he didnt want to upset anyone-because he says "they are dear friends".

  Our Cockatiel needs help

  we have a male cockatiel and were given a female.

  after almost 2 yrs together they began to mate.. we thought it was cute.

  then she started laying eggs.

  Funny parrot story : We were in a pet shop buying some fish and at the back there was a large parrot, Liam was about two at the time and went over to look at it, the parrot said in a very clear voice 'hello'. Liam was horrifed and took off like a rocket out the shop screaming - he was hysterical lol. It took him a long time to grow out of it and loose the fear after that, there used to be a restaurant in a mall near us called the rainforest cafe, it had parrots in there and sometimes they were outside, we always had to walk the long way around to avoid going past it because Liam would freak every time he saw the parrots

  moose is the puppy, and ladybug is our older basset (teenager, really -- she's almost 2).

  moose gets into the funniest sleeping positions, as illustrated below:.

  i love how ladybug carefully curls herself into a tight ball and wraps her tail around her nose!

  Tornado/Tornado Warnings

  it's 5:43 p.m. (est) and we here in toronto are under a tornado warning.

  apparently, one of several storms churning overhead, has rotation.. brampton/chincuagousy area has been hit; folks say it sounded like a frieght train, cars/trucks thrown about with trees down, homes damaged.

  the sky out where i am is green and churning with weird cloud formations (east end).. folks in southern ontario: keep your eyes/ear peeled.. who says a tornado cannot hit a large city: well, i hope not, but there you have it.

  i have been wanting to be part on this group for a little while... so here i am!

  some of you have met or talked to my husband, bryan.

  he is the xjw; i'm here to better understand some of the stuff he is has gone through in his life, as well as what he is going through... and i must say that after meeting a few of you at the dallas apostafest, i already understand a step better... but i also understand that the road will be long; and i am ready!.
