Green Bible/Black Bible...?
by Gill incan any one tell me what the 'significant differences' are between the old green bible and new black bible?.
having been a jw for almost forty years i never knew of a difference except that my mum is the only jw i know who still uses one.
is it possible that i could show her anything 'interesting'?

How about that hour when you'd lie awake in bed on Saturday morning hoping your parent(s) would sleep in or forget to go out in service
.... while praying for heavy rain

Rubbish
by Peppermint inhow often do you get your rubbish/refuse collected?
where i live they have just changed it to ever 2 weeks!

No reduction. I think they plan to do it nationwide
Your kidding me Its a pain in the neck if we forget and we miss one week putting the bin out.
Doesnt surprise me there is no reduction in the tax that is supposed to pay for it - typical labour.

One of our cats has taken to scratching at things (curtains, beds etc), its very annoying and destructive she never used to do it. I'm wondering what has set that off.
If you dug a hole in the garden and she happened to see you she would be over like and shot
and attempting to fill it in.Ours are a pain - If you are digging in the garden they seem to think you are doing it for them and will wonder over, squat and pee (or worse) in the freshly dug soil Like you have been preparing it just for them.
Another odd thing she did was sit on the edge of the bath while you were in there and 'attack' the water.
I had to change their water dish to a ceramic one, as they used to have a steel dish and would attack the reflection of themselves in the water, made a hell of a mess - stupid creatures.

You know that the dial was faulty ...
hmmm funny how it was working perfectly before that day and then seemed to work perfectly again after that day, maybe it was the weather dear
And I don't care how ya spell it-it's still a valid point!
Yeah nice to know not everyone has nothing better to do than bitch about a mis-spelt word.
Make sure you're wearing your boots and have a hard on before you step on the site.
