She's here and early! 27 weeks 1day.

so as of july 2nd my wife delivered by c-section our little one pound, three ounce daughter izabella.

it was a very scary night that started with a decel and turned into multiple decels that greatly concerned the doctors.

by early morning they felt the need to take her for her safety.

Breaking News, London: Van Ploughs into Pedestrians

3 male passengers then get out and start stabbing / shooting people according to early reports.. but it could have been anyone for any reason, who knows, possibly jehovahs witnesses or amish.. maybe we'll never know the reason but i'm sure there will be people praying for those involved and hashtags.. thus solving the problem once and for all.. just "life in a big city" according to the muslim mayor of london, sadiq khan..

A photo of a JW literature trolley with no JWs manning it looks like it may have been left there from the night before just after the police ordered the shopping mall area cleared

The mall was evacuated in the morning due to an completely unrelated incident. The cart has obviously just been abandoned during the evacuation. I'm amazed people are making such a big deal over this, there are plenty of things to criticize the JW's over but this is not one of them

This looks like it was setup in the area that has been evacuated - I imagine they were just told to leave and didn't have time to take it with them. If that is the case I think it is unfair to criticize them for this

If you enjoy clubs the Ghost Bar is fun, although it's a pain to get in, its a roof top club/bar on the 55th floor - it also has a glass dancefloor

If you are walking along the strip - comfy shoes. It doesn't look that far from place to place but is actually a lot of walking and the taxi lines end up insane in the evening

Fremont Street is interesting too. You can also do a zip line along the length of the street if you're into that ! They also have a very bizarre light show that plays on the roof every so often.

last week we had a reassurance ultrasound with our ob.

she was just supposed to check heartbeats on the two little ones and they were going strong!

but because she had extra time and she can be quite anal about her work (which is a good thing) she decided to take some measurements.

Cooking With Cast Iron

i can't even remember what got me interested in pans, probably wanting to try cooking more and watching some cooking videos on youtube, but i kind of started wanting to get a cast-iron skillet specifically so started reading up on them.

hey, if you're going to spend $50 on something you need to study them and create a comparison spreadsheet ... right?.

not only did cast-iron look great for cooking but there are some studies that show risks to aluminium / teflon cookware ... not that the wts was "right" about aluminium, but teflon can give off carcinogenic chemicals if overheated (so what if it chips off into your food?).
