i have found that the following books are still of interest and use to me, although i have 'walked away' from jw:.
1. greatest man whoever lived.
a lot of nice general info about jesus' life that is easy to read.
We've still got all our books, mainly for reference but we've not used them for ages. I thought about getting rid of some the other week, but couldn't bring myself to do it for some reason.

Please don't laugh to much but for a while after passing my test I drove a Citroen 2CV(Oh the shame), to be honest though I really liked it.

i once met a man who claimed that he had invented everything, including the hovermower, the hovercraft and the xylophone.
he said he created the hovermower out of dustbin lids attached to an old lawnmower.
I had an old lady once, who said that Jesus came a stood at the end of her bed every night and watched her. Oookkkkaayy backing down the drive.
i have been lurking for a few months now.
the only reason that i have not posted until now is because of the paranoia that comes with being raised a jw.
my current status in the congregation is irregular, reaching out for the office of inactive.

Another one I learnt while working with a pioneer - knock on a door in the street that your meeting in, so you can start counting the time and then walk right across town of course taking the scenic route, to do the next call.
