  Do you celebrate X-mas but aren't Christian?

  just curious.

  are there any out there who are not christians, ie.

  born again pagans .

  I dont really know what I am anymore. I just think christmas is a great excuse to spoil the kids rotten and eat loads of things that are bad for you.

  It does feel a bit strange doing all this, but I couldnt imagine having to tell my little lad that he couldn't join in the christmas concert or christmas parties they are having a school. I'm just so glad he is going to have normal childhood.

  i have received a package from the united nations high commissioner for human rights.

  you may recall that dino found out that the uns high commissioners office in geneva, switzerland has in its collection the november 22, 1998 awake!

  magazine article titled a long job finished (pages 3 and 4) and a second article titled the universal declaration of human rights (page 5).

  i just returned home from the hospital.

  my sister in law had a mis- carriage today.

  it was a very sad day for her and my wifes family.

  I know how devestating this is, my brother and his partner lost a full term baby a few years ago. Will be thinking of you.

  the responses to the post got me thinking about other books that have affected me.

  Conflicted - have to agree, I've not read many Stephen King books but I really enjoyed Insomnia, also the Green Mile.

  I like reading Dean Koontz, cant wait for his new book out this month, and also Patrica Cornwell.

  FELLOWSHIP

  i've been reading lots of messages in just a few days of logging on to this site and have to say that in the beginning it was bothering me to still be doing the jw thing.

  i dropped out after 25 years, the last 14 as an elder.

  now, however, i'm beginning to realize that the posts have been giving me a feeling of fellowship with many people who have gone/are going through experiences similar to mine, a kind of fellowship that i rarely if ever felt being among other jw's.

  i was a regular christian before a jehovah's witness person came knocking on my door.

  i did not know what a jehovah's witness was when i met her.. she's a very nice person, and brings her 14 year old daughter everytime.

  she says i should not watch tv, and should not listen to music, and should not play video games, because they will corrupt me, because they are what devil has created.. my friend told me that they are extremests and he is very worried about me being in contact with jehovah witness people (as you can see, i'm not too sure of how to address them either).
