  cats may well live with us, but they don't live like us.

  i've noticed over the years that how we perceive stuff and how cats process the same info is often so different as to be almost alien.

  Liquor/Mixed Drink survey

  ok, i've done the beer survey, now its the mixed drinks survey.. i personally like the 4 horseman (1/4 jack 1/4 rum 151, 1/4 everclear, and 1/4 tequila).

  it'll put you on your ass quick.

  i also like a good bull buster (yager w/ red bull).

  Kids and meetings

  i remember when they would discourage kids from taking colors or coloring books to the meetings.

  so i thought ok, i will give my kid a pen and my book of bible stories to keep him busy.

  then they said that was a bad idea because he might write on the furniture and it wasnt good to teach them to write on the wbt publications.

  We didnt

  We used to sit in the back room and let him sit on the floor with books, pens cars etc, a lot of people didnt approve but I was not going to disipline my 2 year old for acting like a 2 year old and refusing to sit still and read a bible for 2 hours.

  If he got really bored, Simon used to take him for a walk in the car park, and quite often over the road to the shop to get some chocolate or something. (I think it was a good excuse for Simon too, as he used to pick him up and walk out with him even if he was quiet )

  One time when he was bored and playing up a bit, an elder asked me if I knew how to smack my child ? I nearly smacked him (the elder) in the face at that point !

  The Hutton report is only about the circumstances that lead up to the death of David Kelly.
  

  So although Tony Bluuuggghh seems to have been cleared in this report, the fact is still there that he went to war on very dodgy evidence. The question remains where are the WMDs that were meant to be ready to use in 45 minutes. There should still be an inquiry on whether the gov was justified in going to war.

  JW friends came to visit -- happy ending!

  thursday afternoon i picked up three friends of ours from england: a dear elderly jw lady (who hates that term) who is headed for 80 faster than she'd like, her son, and her son-in-law.

  son hasn't been "in" the witnesses for years and years and years -- drifted out -- and sil is an elder.

  i was nervous.
