this is just a general query, and am hoping someone can clarify.. a lot of web forums usually list the usernames of the admins & moderators.
i have not seen listed, unless someone can show me otherwise, the admins & moderators of this web forum.. from what i can gather, simon is the owner & admin of this web forum.
scully has just locked a discussion thread - so i'm guessing that s/he is either an admin or moderator.. who are the admins & moderators ?.
This is the best and most balanced Ex JW site IMHO.
I have been here since the old H2O site closed.
Come and read every day although now rarely comment.
A big thankyou to Simon and Angharad for keeping it going

also part quote below.
prince was believed to have been in need of a double hip replacement, an operation he rejected because it would have required him to accept a blood transfusion, which conflicted with his beliefs as jehovah’s witness.. .
Maybe another premature loss due to this iniquitous policy.

Hi Warren
We left 15 years ago but knew a few in Bexhill. We were in the Hastings/Battle area.

took the wife in today for her regular every 3 month checkup.
what do i see but 3 awake magazines layed neatly.
in a group amongst the usual pile of better homes and gardens, ect, put out for those waiting for their appointments.
Well done outlander.
Went into a chip shop in Devon a few years ago and they had a large pile of WT's.
I asked the girl serving us if anyone wanted or read them. She said no so I asked
if she minded if I took the lot and binned them.
1 large pile of mags was then dumped in nearest bin - result!!!

in a couple of days of been on the site 10 years, am i supposed to make some profound post about something or other?.
maybe i should thank everyone like a speech at the oscars?
to be honest nobody really gives a damn how long i've been posting here anyway.. .
Hi Ballistic
Happy 10th JWN birthday to you.
Nice to see some oldies still around.

all i can say is "wow!
" in the 10 years i've been out i had no idea that forums like this existed.
a tad naive-sounding for someone with a background in it, i know, but it's taken me this long just to feel comfortable enough to type 'jw' into google.
Welcome Mummatron
What a story. Thankyou for sharing.

at one time, it seemed that the majority of those leaving, were young ones brought up in the cult.. from what i can see now (at least on here), there seems to be a high number of 20+ baptised members years leaving.. has this always been the case?
it might be i just didn't notice from my parochial view from the kingdom hall!.
or are there really more long standing jw's leaving now, than ever before?.
Its all very well being able to convince yourself that you can live a lie,
but what happens if/when the blood issue arises, and that lie expects that you or a family member should die for it?
Could be a dangerous even fatal game to try and play
