  Daystar...what is your point? I wasn't talking to you in particular...I'm sorry for anything you have suffered at anyone's hands. What I was trying to point out is that others have suffered from the Masonic cult and I don't think it should be glossed over or taken lightly. I wonder how posters would feel if the abuse situation was not believed as far as the JW's go? (Well, we already know how that goes over on this Board!) Personally, I know that a lot of the rank and file JW's are good people, but it's with the "Higher Ups" that the real problems begin. In any organization, things usually start at the top and that appears to be the situation with the Masons as well. It just seems to me that if anyone says anything bad about the Mason's it's offensive...everybody here knows one...and they are good people....they would never do any of the stuff that is being said about them...

  You guys did a great job of just blowing this info off!!! We have an attorney, who had all the INSIDE information on higher level Mason's and stuff they did in this particular case and no seems to even care about the abused kids!

  I wonder what it might take to convince some of you that bad things do happen, perpetrated by bad people in bad cults?

  AA, I think it's the same issue of trying to prove that there is a God or not. There really isn't any test that we can do to prove/disprove this theory. Some people think it is all in one's head, others believe it's people that can't/haven't crossed over, others believe it's a demonic force, etc. Hopefully one day, in our lifetimes, we'll find out the TRUTH!!!

  It hurts my feelings that everyone is making fun of my relatives. They are really nice and sweet and they can't help it. Dentistry for dogs is unheard of in Alabama, but that doesn't seem to bother them one bit! They can hunt as good as the next dog and there is nothing wrong with their noses! Look how happy they are!!! That's the important thing...such a materialistic bunch on here!

  Legolas...I understand what you are saying and I do catch the "Ghost Hunters" series occasionally. I did see the segment where the cameraman was thrown down and the "shadow" was walking down the hall in the old prison. There is some force that did this. I should tell these guys to go check out the elementary school that I attended. The building is very old and my 6th grade classroom supposedly had a ghost! My teacher did several experiments and determined that we really did have one and so when we would hear it making noise in the closet she would just tell it to be quite and laugh. It didn't seem to like things put on one shelf and would knock it off!

  My point is...we don't really get any info from the ones who are trying to "cross over". What is taking them so long, what is the problem?

  How are they able to be invisible, etc.? What are they made of?

  Surely they should be able to pass some scientific info along!

  I totally agree with you! Montel has a "physic" on his show about once a week and all they ever say is fluff stuff. It does seem to me that one of those "spirits" would tell us something that we all needed to know...

  1. What is God like? Have you met this divine being or anyone else yet?

  2. What do you do all day/night?

  3. How fast can you travel? How can we improve our transportation methods?

  4. Is Bush going to finish out his entire term as President? If so, do we need to be making life altering changes now?

  For some odd reason (that I won't go into) I was in a judicial committee meeting, a few years ago, where there were several married JW men and several married JW women (just not to each other). As I had to give "testimony" to something that I had seen I was with 3 elders alone at one point. All of these JW's had been cheating and it was unbelievable to me that the elders laughed at what the guys did, but thought the women were sluts! I would NEVER have believed these elders felt the way they did had I not been in that room. I wish I would have been smart enough then to use a tape recorder. It made me rather nauseous and of course I had to tell them all exactly how I felt about their attitude. They quit laughing immediately!

  To everyone that believes that this attitude is in the past, think again. Thanks Blondie for posting this! Women in the JW organization are mostly treated like floor mats to wipe your feet on. It's a good ole boy's club and they rule!
