  Well, how would you like to have the best looking dog avatar and not get but 1 mention? I mean that REALLY hurts! LOL...Please! IP_SEC, all you have to do is look in the mirror and one word should come to mind-HOT! Now, get over it!

  I started an ugly avatar thread and Daystar was the obvious winner...and then he got mentioned quite often on the other threads...go figure!

  It's kind of nice to have a few fluff threads just to lighten things up around here...no one should get their feelings hurt. It takes all of us to make this forum what it is. I'm sure if there were other threads started, like who is the sweetest, kindest, etc. everyone would get mentioned! Please don't start anymore...we've had enough for a while!

  Then if everyone would take their shirt off like Enigma...well I'm sure you can see where that would lead!!! It's nice he did though, I'm not complaining!

  It really was a strange little world that we grew up in JDUB-LAND!!! It takes years to get over the sexual problems in the org...if ever!!! It was like living under constant surveillance and you had to always try to be one step ahead....Aren't you glad to be out and not having that noose around your neck?

  Calabasas Smoking Ban

  tonight the city council of calabasas, calif. banned smoking in all public places.

  this includes outside areas including parks, sidewalks, camping areas, etc.. the only areas one can now smoke is in their private residence, on their private balcony but not in a common area, or in their car (so long as they don't exhale out the window).

  (there are other areas but not sure of the full ins and outs of the ordinance).

  Dick Cheney involved in a shooting

  i saw this in the news paper today.

  busted a gut laughing.. reuters.. washington (reuters) - the white house was bombarded with questions on monday about why it failed to go public with news that vice president dick cheney shot a fellow quail hunter until the day after the accident.. the victim, harry whittington, 78, took pellets in his cheek, neck and chest when cheney fired his shotgun while aiming for a bird during a hunt in southern texas on saturday, and was in stable condition at a corpus christi hospital.. whittington was moved out of intensive care on monday afternoon but peter banko, administrator of christus spohn hospital, said he did not know when he would be discharged.. "his condition continues to be stable ... it's not critical, it's not serious.

  he's in stable condition, doing extremely well," banko said.. the accident happened about 5:30 p.m. on a private ranch about 200 miles south of san antonio, where the vice president has hunted previously.

  When I heard the VP was involved in a hunting accident, I held my breath...hoping...oh well, too bad it was the other guy!

  In regards to the military issue....since God hasn't stepped in to stop or do anything in several thousand years....what is man supposed to do? If this country were being attacked and your loved ones killed...would you pick up a weapon in defense? If countries had decided not to stop Hitler, what would the world be like today?

  It's interesting to hear the comment that there are no atheists in the foxholes!!! Some of the most devout "christians" are military personnel...kind of makes you wonder, huh?

  If someone were breaking in my house and hurting just me...I might not try to kill...but if someone were attacking my family members...it would lights for him!!!

  I feel sure that she won't have to pay that much in fines...however, this should put everyone on alert that you can't TOUCH another person!!! It's like crosssing a line...you can say anything but don't touch! This is considered aggressive behavior...she should have gone and reported it to an attendant.

  Back Pain and Triggerpoint Injections

  i know this is not really "on topic, but just wondering if anyone else suffered from chronic back and neck pain.

  i have been in constant pain for years (really, years).

  i have tried everything from acupuncture to chiropractors to rolfing, neurologists, orthopedists, etc.

  I have to get them quite often...follow your drs. instructions and it does help. (Keep moist heat on and don't do anything strenous for a few days!) I kept having terrible neck pain and finally told my dr. that I thought I had cervical spinal stenosis...went in for a neck MRI with dye and it showed that I had 2 discs cutting halfway into my spinal cord! I had surgery and the relief was unbelievable. I checked around and made sure I got the best neurosurgeon in the city! Sometimes you have to demand extra testing!!!

  I still suffer from 3 problematic discs in my lower back and have to get spinal epidurals as needed and also trigger point injections. I am waiting for technology to improve and will probably end up having surgery on my lower back also.

  Massage therapy really is great for the muscles and helps with pain also...
