  i know when it comes to pedophiles we are young girls or teenage girls who have been molested by men.. i know of 2 cases where a teenage boy is being seduced by an older woman in the congregation.. .

  i know of one when i was a jw in my congregation.

  she was 24 and he was 15 1/2 - 16 when they meet.

  Well, maybe you would have came up with the same theory reguardless of my answers. I hadnt thought much about it until my memory was jogged with your post. I tend to let the past be the past and get on with life.

  I have a daughter, and she will most likely have sex by the time she is 16, of one sort or the other. Girls tend to attract to older guys at that age, so no, it wouldnt surprise me if she did it with a 18 or 20 year old. Would I like it, no. Not because of the age diff, but because at that age you dont appreciate it like you do when your older. It is better to wait for that reason, for one.

  ya, I reported it... to all my buddies...... but not to any JW. Wasnt thier business.

  As for any after effects, I spent the rest of my life liking older women. Other than that, I cant see any.

  I am not making light of whatever you see as some bigger thing, really. To me, back in 1972, it was one of many conquests to be had, nothing more, nothing less.

  Dunno.. she left for Finland shortly after that.

  Lasted all of 5 minutes, including foreplay.

  Like a crusader.

  Did she ever come on to you or you to her?

  Never saw her again, I dont think.

  Looking back now, do you see it as child abuse?

  Nope... had I been 12, yes. I was almost 16, so no.

  before i confess to my rediculous weakness, i just want to assure everyone that i've been out for over 20 yrs - disfed for apostasy - that's true apostasy, as i stopped believing in god.

  i (& hubby) were disfed in 1981. never met another apostate or read anything apostate when we left.

  thought our way out unaided.

  I will admit to being one of the odd ones... nothing draws me back, or even gives me a good feeling about the past with JW's. Even when they come to my door, I am polite and let them get about 5 words out, then have them move on. Discussions on religion with my Methodist wife or kids dont even bring back haunting or nice memories. Maybe I managed to cleanse my brain via thinking? Or was it the crank? Whatever it was, nothing triggers anything resembling a "warm fuzzy".

  Yeru has it right... if you have to ask, well... you know.

  I do dishes as needed.... aint allowed to do laundry ever since my wife saw all my clothes the same shade of green when I was in the army.

  Personal Protection

  last summer i got mugged.i have been taking kickboxing classes but i am seriously thinking about getting one of these babies.do any of you carry any kind of protection??.

  the cia model 850 holds 5 rounds of .38 special +p in a lightweight and compact package.

  like the name says - cia...carry it anywhere..

  Here in AZ, we carry openly without a permit. You can get a ccw also, which mandates training. Having been trained how to shot-to-kill, I dont worry about the "what-ifs".

  Not many people mugged here have guns on them.... and not many, if any, gun carriers get mugged. It is a simple premise... bullys rarely pick on bullys. The ability to carry a holstered, loaded pistol not only gives me a little security, but also gives some to those around me. There aint nothing better than 100 bikes meeting somewhere, with most everyone carrying. Guess what... no one got shot or threatened. No one tried to mug us either.

  i always wondered what life was like in the amish community.any help would be appreciated.i did see the witness movie with harrison ford and thought it was a good movie ,but was it in anyway realistic?

  I lived in Lititz, PA... just a click north of Lancaster, PA.... we were pretty much surrounded by the Amish.

  They dont preach, they actually like thier privacy and dont trust outsiders. They do like bikers, maybe cuz we have the long beards too and are disliked by society, like them.

  They do not use electric, but if they have dairy farms, they have both electric and phone lines to the barn only. This is to purify the milk, and the phone is needed to call the maintainance company in case the purification stuff goes down. It is not unusual to see an Amish dude plowing a field with horses while having a wireless phone hanging out of his back pocket. I hear the dairy farmers call each other.

  I worked at New Holland, where we made all kinds of farm equipment. A company around the corner from our plant would take our tractor-driven hay bailers and convert them to diesel-driven balers. Then, the Amish would pull this machine with a horse or two.

  Cameras are avoided at all costs.... and mirrors. It has something to do with vanity and the devil.

  Beards are not worn until a man gets married... up till then, you have a hairless face.

  Also, PA mandated 12 volt lighting systems in the buggies a while back. This opened up a market for stereos in the buggies the younger amish drove around.... and they like them LOUD.

  Enuff for now. I loved sharing the road with the horses tho, other than the shit on the roads. It is like ice to a motorcycle tire.
