Well, PEC and his lady just left.... what a great afternoon.
We met at Dennys, grabbed lunch while talking the initial introducing stuff. Then we went back to my place and sat under the awning of my motorhome. After a few hours of back and forth, I think I made some new friends...
We should do this again, and have a few more people.... it was refreshing.

Speaking of those songs.... how many of ya mouthed the words but didnt sing, so as not to get hit? I did.
Anyhow, there was some witness lady up near the Poconos in PA that was like an opera singer... loudest one in the hall. Me and my sis would crack up when she hit the high notes, and subsiquently get whacked on the head. I think this was back around '70 or '71

Perfection
by purplesofa ini was talking to a friend of mine about perfection last night.. he made a comment that there was no way to have perfection, unless you made one thing and set that as perfect.
everything after that would be a copy and otherwise would always in some way fall short of perfect, the original creation.
we were talking about art.. and then he made a comment that god did not create us perfectly.

Ya, isnt it funny how, when you remove the forbidden fruit, it isnt as much fun.
I have 2 kids... 22M and 16F... the son smokes cigs, the daughter doesnt yet. The son and me sat down to drink a bunch of beer and we both got tired and went to bed before getting very far.... I hardly drink now and he just isnt into it.
We had a pool party and I told the daughter she could have one of her moms Rum drinks. She said no thanks, she wasnt in the mood. hehe... too funny, I woulda took the Rum bottle and said thanks, at her age.
Raising kids also involves some luck, and a good spouse. My wife did most of the teaching, I held them to it. I spent most of thier youth working away from home, or taking roadtrips with the boys. She, and they, done good.

I will spill the beans about my name....
Back in the 70's, a bunch of us were hanging out and shooting the breeze, with some of the biker-groupie girls in our midst. One of them was pretty uptight and naive, but had a nice body so we let her along with us. Anyhow, we are carrying on, and I let out a fairly loud fart.... She said "You are an animal!!!" The guys all said "thats it, your nickname is Animal!"
It stuck ever since, both in the biker world and the internet world.

Service meeting part about My Space
by seek2find inthis week an article about the internet will be discussed on the service meeting.
at one meeting it was announced that the elders would be contacting parents about kids who have my space accounts.
