  i receieved this "poem" from some witness chick who sent it as a forward to myself and a whole bunch of other dubs.

  my sister received it from someone else and i have other friends who received it from other sources.

  im sure every young witness who has email has received it by now, and it's the most sickening, disheartening thing i have seen in a long time.

  Getting Started

  Set your sights small at first ? found a cult. It may even be necessary to found two or three cults. Keep at it until you get it right. Certain equipment is deemed essential: candles, beads, tambourines and drums. Collection cups, of course, and poster paint.

  They forgot to mention the other essential equipment: a green Bible, magazines, tracts, booklets, books, rotary presses and volunteer workers who never question.

  Is Watchman guilty of the same "sin"?

  as many of you likely know, the owner of the e-watchman website constantly charges the wts with having committed spiritual fornication with the united nations organization (the so-called ngo affair).

  i would like to ask you all a question in order to find out your opinion as to whether or not watchman has done a near equivalent thing that he charges the wts with having done.

  most of you were probably aware that watchman once advertised the e-watchman site on this site here (jw.com).

  Because of my earlier responses and because I have since had my eyes opened to the E-Watchman's agenda, I must post this follow up post to say that I completely agree with Schizman and Little Witch. The guy is rather bent and I think he took one too many hits with a rolled up Watchtower.

  Going to their message board is like walking through a Kingdom Hall of Stepford Elders. They simply have no idea they are considered apostates by the very same dogman and policies they still uphold and defend. Creepy. But certainly they must know it on some level, why else would they be sneaking around anonymously like little spiritual cowards? I utterly detest them because the have not come by their apostate status honestly like many of the rest of us.

  Just wanted to vent.

  WT images - CD-ROM anyone elese receive this

  today i received a cd-rom of pictures, from various watchtower publications, that contain subliminal images.

  it was sent to me anonymously, from somewhere in the north of england.

  someone who has my home address but i don't recall anyone in the north who has it.

  Just did a quick look at the above posted site and I think it is a load of crap. "If we crop the picture this way, reverse the image and turn it up side down, then close one eye while at the same time stand on your head you will see the Devil wink at you...." I am sure you can get any image from any picture if you look long and hard enough.

  a brilliant flash of light on one bible subject sometimes leads god?s anointed servants, "the faithful and discreet slave," to reexamine related topics, as the following recent example illustrates .

  so when our view of a bible passage is clarified, let us rejoice in advancing truth!

So when our view of a Bible passage is clarified, let us rejoice in advancing truth! Really, our continuing to be enlightened confirms that we are on the right path. It is "the path of the righteous ones," which "is like the bright light that is getting lighter and lighter until the day is firmly established." (Proverbs 4:18) True, at present we see some aspects of God?s purpose "in hazy outline." But when God?s due time arrives, we will see the truth in all its beauty, provided that our feet have remained firmly planted on "the path." In the meantime, may we exult in the truths that Jehovah has made plain, awaiting enlightenment on those that are not yet clearly understood.

  Anyone want to translate this crap?

  I'm Taking on the C.O.

  i have been sick and tired of not doing anything about the constant lies i get from the wt organization on various issues such as the u.n. no one from my parents to brooklyn can give me a straight answer on anything.

  so, yesterday, i decided to take a different approach.

  i live near a kh that actually has a apartment built on to the side of it for the co who serves all of the kh's in my area including my old hall that is over an hour away from where i currently live.

  The TRUTH for dummies. Chapter 1

  being only newly freed from the wts, there are many people who were my friends that i would like to be able to explain the truth about many of the points raised on this board.

  so i have decided to compile a publication that i can mail to them with short succinct, hardhitting reasoning on areas where the wts is misleading them and also areas where they are saying one thing but practising another.

  i would like to be able to limit the explanations to one topic per page with the hope that if there is not too much too read they may just bother to read it.

  Corwin spouted the jw line fed to them by the tower for years. The rank and file actually believe this to be true. The g.b. knows better. The cross is the symbol of "it is finished". For christians, it symbolizes hope and the resurrection. It is also not 'venerated". It is simply a symbol.

  Venerate: to regard or treat with reverence; revere.

  Revere: to regard with respect and a tinge of awe.

  Um yeah, it is not just JW speak, the cross is venerated. And whether Jesus died on a cross or a stake with no crossmember, even the WT has a correct view on some things. You don't see the JW's wearing the "stake" that Jesus died on around their necks. Perhaps they (the WTBTS) are misleading about the stake thing, however, why would Christians take on a pagan symbol in their worship of God? You might agree the cross did not originate with the Christians.

  I don't know about the WT governing body, but wearing the historical symbol for the human penis around your neck to identify you as a Christian is just as gay as those stupid "YHWH" tie pins that were suppose to identify you as a JW. Wearing one no more makes you a Christian than wearing stockings and a garter makes you a woman.
