I left the org with with a huge amount of pent up anger the source of which I did not understand. I was the young clean cut df'd guy who ran a national sales company. My sales training classes and sales presentations were very focussed and professional, but after hours, I was heading for the biker bars and heavy metal bars with my sales crew wearing my suit and tie. I was just asking for it.

I remember a night at Sneakers in San Antonio where we were ejected from the club along with another group of guys (Tex-Mex boys, not one of them under 6'-3"). They said something stupid to us and we brawled in the parking lot. I snapped and beat hell out of two of them. I've had the occasion or two to split another (very deserving) guy's face open with a John Wayne round house . . .

Now, there are a couple of elders I would love to take a crack at.

it almost seems like this non-study article takes a perverse pleasure in allowing witnesses to "keep their trials" instead of ending them.

Yet, another example of WTBTS hypocrisy. In Mexico, as we all know, the governing body condoned the illegal practice of bribing officials to obtain a bogus "cartilla" so that the brothers could unscripturally avoid military service without having to go to prison.

I do not understand this statement. Is that 51% of Americans? If 51% of Americans are against the war they are not "pro war".

Since when did prefering peace become Synonymous with hating America?

Hello Puppie! It's about freakin' time!

To all: this is one of the most amazing stories! Puppie and I were childhood sweet's who never so much as held hands, but we would stay up all night talking on the phone . . . then we lost contact, and that was 20 years ago. All these years we were, to each other, the best we never had. Well, last month, I am in Radio Shack and I bumped into her. She has her story and I will let her tell it, but I am so happy to have found my dear Puppie once again. We were dead to each other all these years primarily because of the organization's rules and other life choices we made along the way, but seeing her again was like having a loved one brought back to life!

She recognized me first and told me she was df'd. I responded by saying, "I am an apostate" . . . a real Kodak moment. We stood in the parking lot of Radio Shack and talked for about 2 hours . . . and the entire time I stood there mostly with my jaw dropped because I simply could not believe she was standing infront of me, but really it was like we had never lost contact. (I blew off the appointment I was already late for). To make a long story short, I told here about this forum and she has finally joined; yayyyyy!

Yes, they are hypocrites for the obvious reasons, but when I read the above, this is what immediately came to mind:

(1 Timothy 1:5) If our love and faith are genuine?not tainted by selfishness and deception?others will trust us. We will be a source of real strength and encouragement to those around us. Hypocrisy, on the other hand, will ultimately prove death-dealing to those who practice it. In the end, hypocrisy will be openly exposed. The WTBTS better hope that Jehovah does not exist, because if He does exist, they are all so screwed . . .
