i am putting together a website geared toward non-sexual jw child abuse.

i am in the midst of getting clinical assistance from mental healthcare professionals and many others are wanting to get on board.

what i was thinking about is, since most of us that post on jwd remain annonymous, i wonder how many of us know someone else that posts on this site, but dont know that they post on this site... i keep hearing of new apostates (people that are aquaintances of mine) that are popping up... and i notice that a few people here are from ontario, canada.

too bad i may never know who you are, even though i may know who you are (get it???!!!).

it really spells out to me just how afraid most of us are.

Since I came completely out of the apostate closet, I have had a couple folks who knew me way back when privately reveal themselves to me. I appreciated that.

They live here locally, but we haven't yet gotten together.

today, right around the time i was expecting nancy home from school, on this her second day back, the doorbell rings.

guess who?.

i will simply cut and paste the entry i made into the now very detailed log i am keeping since nancy's suicide attempt.

I have not talked to Nancy about the JW's that do attend her school, and the PO's daughter, and Mark's daughter do attend with her, but we did discuss what concerned me at the time most, and that was how she would deal and respond to other students' questions about her suicide attempt. Some of her friends and teachers from school did show some pretty awesome concern for her and made contact with her while she was hospitalized to express their support, love and friendship. If she should encounter JW crap at school, I do think that Nancy, based on how she let her mother have a bit of truth in our last group counseling session, will be able to deal with it. She is getting pretty brassy and assertive about things lately herself. I am very proud of her.

To me, if I had studied with a young girl, who had tried committing suicide. I would have thought it very rude not to make an attempt to at least talk to her. Nancy sounds like a very lovable kid from all you have told us.

I have considered that, too, specialK. It does seem reasonable. Nancy was becoming irritated with Carol in their last few studies as I recall. Nancy thought it very bothersome that Carol would often and repeatedly stress to Nancy the "importance of staying inside the organization" and not much else. For some reason that seemed to tug on one of Nancy's shin hairs.

There is no way in hell that Carol did not know of the suicide attempt, my picketing (apostasy) and for her to even knock on my door was pretty ballzy, and in light of the fact that Carol has shown little concern for Nancy up until now, even while she was in the hospital, tells me that yes, the elders and many of the JW's are crafty enough to seek access to Nancy in order to "readjust her thinking".

I like the idea of having the attorney compose an official letter to the congregations and to Brooklyn.

Did you tell Nancy that Carol had called, Corvin?..

Yes, K, I did. Nancy arrived home from school not five minutes after Carol had left. When Carol left, I glanced at the clock and noticed Nancy should be home any time and I became very incensed in the knowledge that the timing must have been planned. The thought also occured to me that Nancy might encounter Carol outside at that very moment. I was on the phone leaving a message with her attorney when all these thoughts came to me, and I was heading out the door to intercept Nancy should Carol still be around. I was stepping outside when Nancy came bounding up the walk. I could see on her face she had not seen Carol, but I had to ask anyway.

When I told her Carol had just stopped by, her response was, in my mind, the most comforting one for me. She became a bit agitated and asked, "Why? What was she doing here? That is so stupid." She asked me what Carol said. I told her, and she rolled her eyes and again stated how stupid she thought Carol was.

Regarding Halloween, it came up last night because Elese and Mary had been talking about us celebrating Thanksgiving this year. Mary and I have been together for 8 years now and she has been very patient and supportive of my previous views on holidays and we therefore NEVER once celebrated the holidays here in the Corvin home. She would go over to her mom and dads house for the holidays for the family thing, tho, and that was fine with me. Anyway, we got all the kids together and talked about what we wanted to do, and I stressed that any one of the kids had the power of veto should they not feel comfortable on any level about celebrating Thanksgiving. We all voted for it, including Nancy.

Nancy then brought up what she was going to be doing for Halloween. The other two girls chimed in and plans and costume ideas began flying back and forth. I was astonished. I looked over at Mary and laughed saying, "Crap, and I was worried about their feelings about celebrating a pagan holiday like Thanksgiving . . . ".

Yes, they are all hypocritically wringing their hands, and it is so funny and repulsive at the same time that they think their cause is truly noble and righteous.

When I told my oldest daughter, Elese, about Carol's visit, she rolled her eyes and said, "what a fu(king idiot", lol, it was so hillarious coming from her sweet mouth that I did not have the heart to rebuke her.

Yes, the JW's are not giving up so easily. They are acting in a slimey way and it will come back to bite them in the arse.

Carol Katxxxxny (unsure of spelling) came by today asking to talk to Nancy. Carroll used to study with Nancy when she first moved in with Mary and I. I had encouraged Nancy to study with a mature sister and Carol was it. Nancy stopped the study months ago and Carol has not called on or really inquired of Nancy for a long time, and the purpose of her visit was obvious in that she was trying to gain access to Nancy in order to talk to her about the religion. She attends one of the congregations/Kingdom Halls I picketed and was very aware of my apostate status, and knows very well that JW?s are not suppose to have anything to do with apostates, yet there she was at my door.
I asked her what the nature of her visit was and she responded that she just wanted to stop by and see how Nancy was doing. I doubt that she was unaware of the judge?s order, but I nevertheless informed her about the situation, that, nobody, including mom or me or any other JW was to talk to Nancy about the religion.
She smiled robotically and said that she was sorry to hear that.
I said that I was not.
She said that she was sorry I felt that way.
I informed her that although I was glad about the judge?s order, it was Nancy?s decision, not mine.
She said she hoped that some day Nancy would change her mind, still smiling that creepy smile.
I said that I was pretty sure there would be no chance of that.
She again said that I was entitled to my opinion.
I said, "yes, yes I am, and if you really have Nancy?s best interests in mind, why don?t you come in so we can talk about it".
She said "no thank you" and left.
I believe that this was planned. I believe that somebody urged her to come by and minister to Nancy pretending not to know the situation. Her timing was damn near perfect for Nancy arriving home from school. It?s too much of a coincidence in my book. This is an indirect violation of the judge?s order and can be interpreted as harassment.
I immediately called Nancy?s attorney to inform him of Carol?s visit.

This evening, the girls and me talked about what they want to dress up as for halloween this year. It will be their first time and they are so excited. LOL, and this was THEIR idea. Halloween was the one holiday I wanted so badly to participate in as a child. I think I will dress up too.

E-watchman is not disfellowshipped!?

i note that e-watchman has just confirmed that he is not disfellowshipped, despite running an 'apostate' website and having sent 1000's of letters around the us, canada, and bethels around the world.

What absolute bullsh*t. If he is in good standing, and they know who he is, we all know his apostate light would be extinguished in a Brooklyn Bethel minute.

You Know What Beanz Meanz..

bacon, egg, sausage, fried bread and toast.

would you like beans or tomatoes with that?.

i was curious that visiting americans find it strange that we should eat baked beans with our breakfast over here.. when else would a person eat beans?.

(At the risk of sounding racist), I will state that beans for breakfast is also a very latino thing, too. being served delicious refried beans with my breakfast while living south of the border was almost a daily thing. It really sticks to your ribs and keeps you going all morning.
