Where Are You From?

PLEASE- I need the Awake article on Celebrating Anniversaries
by annalice indoes anyone have a copy of the awake that has an article about celebrations and anniversaries?
i need to be able to get a download of it, not just re-typed but an actual photo copy of the page.
you know how jw's are if they dont see it in its original format they will say that it was added to or copied wrong.

I think it was an Answers to Questions page ,but not sure ,I do know that it specifically spoke about NOT haveing large anniversary celebrations, but instead for it to be a quiet small celebration. My in-laws are having a large ALL witness 50th anniv.party MY husband and my self are invited even though they can't stand me and blame me for him leaving the BORG. So I thought along with our RSVP stating we would not be there I would include this article with it. They have always nitpicked everything we do in our lives so I guess its time to give a bit back. So if some one has this aticle please paste it on this site so I can copy and print it out, or a lionk to a download. THANK YOU.

How many here actually still believe that there is a God??
by annalice inafter being gone from the jw's for many years now , and having done extensive research on the history of god and the belief in him , i can't seem to find any logical way to have a belief in an invisble being up there ruling over us.

I have a problem with this whole blood issue. How is it they justify using fragments from blood but not blood in its complete state? Where in the bible does it say " pour our the blood upon the ground , BUT! before doing so you can remove certain parts of it for usage ,then spill the rest on the ground" . Yet when you question something like this we ex -witness are seen as "twisting " things and causing true believers to question things and have doubts .

Need newest updated info on societys view of Disfellowshiped one
by annalice ini have heard from a friend that this most recent assembly had a new publication released that has some info in it discussing the treatment of disfellowshipped ones.
i know that a new song book was issued out but had not heard of anyother new publications.
at this time what is the society telling their flock to do pertaining to those disfellowshipped ones.

Are they getting more strict on this subject?My friend was led to belive that they are getting even worse on the treatment of DF'd ones . Does anyone have any info on this ? was there a talk about disfellowshipped ones or some new literature with info in it about DF'd ones?

I love how they say a husband and wife should still stay together even though they have different religeous beliefs. I left the JW's before my husband did,and for years his family would send him letters encouraging him to break free from me. Nice loving witnesses they are.

Who knows of an Annointed one getting Disfellowshipped?
by annalice inok ,so if new annointed ones can still come about , who here has ever heard of any annointed ones in their congregation or surrounding congregations getting disfellowshipped or simply fading out of the organization.
thus allowing some new annointed one to take their place?.
and if someone says "hey i am annointed" do they have to check with bethal who then checks a list or something to see if there is a annointed one somewhere in the world who just got d'fd?.
