You said you should have stated that "it" was a woman's name, but you don't state what "it" is. Who had a woman's name? God?

So my husband got a letter
by Lost his mind inso, he received a letter that i am wondering if it is one of those open letters that are out there to denote time given.
it starts out with the name of the person sending it, then goes into the spiel...do you know our god's name?
when i was shown what it is, i kind of got upset.

LMAO it's called offing yourself, not topping yourself. Topping oneself means masturbation. Around these parts, at least.

"You catch more flies with jam than you do with vinegar."
Wow, Landy, your hypocrisy never fails to amaze me. You were inexcusably rude from your very first interaction with me on this site, and here you have the audacity to preach to someone else about how they should treat their daughter. Wow. Just wow. -

The fact that you are so sure that there is "nothing supernatural" in the world means you're an atheist, not an agnostic. Agnostics still believe in the POSSIBILITY that there is a God. They just don't believe anyone can know for sure either way.
Oh, and Wiccans don't necessarily believe in a God or any spirit creatures. Some do, some don't. It is a nature-based religion more than anything else. And their spells are not about conjuring magic, because they know it is not possible. Their "spells" are merely a ritualistic form of prayer, hardly different from the Catholics with their holy water and incense. -

Worshiping a piece of stone
by FedUpJW intoday one of the members of the local congregation who is somewhat limited intellectually was showing off a small bit of cut granite stone.
as he did so he made sure to let everyone know that it was given to him by the congregation service overseer who just completed his second or third round of bragging rights slave labor at warwick.
he mentioned that, "brother _______ gave this to me as a piece of reality from warwick.

What is this "kabbah" mentioned earlier? I tried googling it, but the only results I got pertained to it being part of various people's names. Nobody important, either. Just a surname. Not the name of a place or an object.

James Mixon Yep, my roommate is single. In fact, she has openly told me on more than one occasion that she's a virgin. And yes, I believe her. I can totally tell she is by her attitude and lack of knowledge regarding sex. I mean, she once said to me "sex is overrated!"
She also used to work for the housing authority, and had to do welfare checks on tenants of a low-income highrise apartment building from time to time. One time she opened the door to glimpse what appeared to be a male tenant lying naked on the floor. She was sure he was already dead based on his coloring, but she told me that she called a male co-worker up to check for her so she wouldn't have to lay eyes on his nudity.
I don't believe she was using that as an excuse so she wouldn't have to go anywhere near a corpse, because there were other times when she would describe to me in detail what stage of decomposition a body was in when she went to check on them, and having to clean up after it was removed from the apartment. It was not death that squicked her. It was male nudity. -

Happiness and Freedom On A Paradise Earth?
by Disassociated Lady 2 inat a recent meeting there was a watchtower article about life in paradise.
they were saying that even when witnesses finally get there they will still be under the strict instructions from the elders and gb.
they may be given jobs that they will find unpleasant, also the preaching work will be ongoing because of all the resurrected people who need to learn about why they are given another chance.

Good point, James. Even my roommate, after announcing to me that she had been anointed, told me that she struggled with it for a while before being able to accept it. Not only was she surprised that God would choose her, but she had no desire to be anointed at first. For almost as long as I've known her (over a decade now) she would often talk about the new system and go into detail about all the things she looked forward to doing when it arrived.
Even now, months after being anointed, she talks about what she is going to miss on earth while at the same being excited about becoming a spirit in heaven and being stronger than angels, because, according to her, angels do not have immortality, but the anointed do. She says that's because the anointed have proven themselves to God by living a human life with original sin and weak flesh yet resisting evil, whereas angels in all their glory and perfection could still betray God, just like Satan and his followers did.
So angels can be destroyed, but the anointed can't. Has anyone else ever heard this? -

"Then go to your JC because an elder read this here who is not out."
Then report that elder for being on an "apostate" site in the first place!
