CCJW is jehovahs witnesses. the watchtower is in no way related to JWs anymore. So unless you are trying to take down a book factory for violating osha or something the watchtower is innocent of almost any accusation escpecially since 2001. You'll have to knock on the CCJW door and they don't have many assets beside pieces of paper saying they exist and tax free office space. The ROTJ is another order of JW monks and recives speacial tax status. The basically divorced JWs by making the elders sevants of a headless sepent while the wtbs runs frantically aways from being related to what some people claim is a dangerous cult.

LL those actually depict a city and actualy are depicting new jerusalem this was for the most part was just the paradise earth with Jesus hanging around. It could not have been NJ unless there are tombstones and graves in heaven. If you cut jesu out of the pic you could have put these in publications.
Speaking of the bethel artist have their own art for sale at gift shops around bethel. Many of the pics are slightly deviant from watchtowerness. One example is the watchtower color codes bible characters so you can tell who is whom since they dont paint halos and names around them, or have too much jesus. So these pics usualy have the "wrong" color (I asume they had only one pair of clothes back then in watchtower logic). Anyway I am wondering if these were painted by JWs.

Not in the sky with crown and mace like in some many of our wonderful pictures, but on the ground in his robe and sandals. It was our Jesus oddly. By our jesus I mean the one from the greatest man book (short dark hair, sorta hispanic looking ) except he was in a plain brown robe instead of the white and blue ensomble the wts prefers. My mother oddly was atracted like a moth to the flame trying to see what exactly were these people. I did not stop to interogate them about the paradise.
So when did you christians start getting ressurected to the paradise earth instead of heaven? Oddly if I saw heaven pictures of people being reunited in cloud land that would weird me out. For some reason the paradise is so much more um marketable? Any idea what church these people were from or where do you buy paradise earth w/jesus iconography?

The problem is not change but chage to what? One thing the watchtower has always had was it fanned the flames of relevant paranoia of wannabe theologians. The watchtower like many corps has become gun shy about public image. You can't preach the gospel of "no comment". They had toally given up on keeping JWs informed about armageddon which was suppossedly their masthead. THey like it or not have become part of "babylon the great again". THey have no more message to preach. in other words the preaching work has ceased because it continues to place magazines which contain no message. How will they gain new people?
You can't give talks on how to give talks, or place literature on how to places literature and win new bodies. THe reason the majority of watchtower material is so irrelevant is because they realy don't have "brass" anymore. It is easy to recycle experiences about how one person used a technique to place a book than to write a book that stirs the soul or the mind and places its self. In short the watchtower needs a new minifesto. Oddly the scientologist and LDS are more of a church than the watchtower. THey have holy books such as the book of mormon or dienetics that will appeal to people for centuries and contain the brand dna of those religions. The watchtower deliberately or not has no manifesto to atract people. Nobody knows what JWs are about or stand for. Nor does the wts want to say what JWs is about either. As much as they claim to stand out they deliberately are bland. Even snake handlers have a public image that attracts people to the church. Islamic terrorist cults have a market that is drawn to their retoric. THe watchtowers only market is jws.

DA'ing coming up, to speak out now or not?
by meat pie inhi there, i know its up to me in the end, but just wondering, what would most of you do?
my da'ing could be tonight, should i take the opportunity (before they can no longer speak to me ) to tell a few jw's that i am being da'd for telling the truth, or not to bother.
does it matter anyway.

i made a lengthy post her but it must have goten lost in cyberspace. Just tell them the truth that you were told JWs had the more truth and were cleaner than the christian church, but they are not so you feel lied to. Instead of wasting your time being a boil you are going to DA your self. Since these elder are from planet earth they won't deny the lack of turthfulness used to get people dunked nor will they deny corruption. Tell um you are following the wts advice and "getting out of her".
Also I commented in the lost post that all those qoutes gretchen posted dance around the fact that they dont tell you to shunn DAed people or family mebers. THere was one term "disassociated apostate". If apostacy is a DFing offense that means the person that DAed was not an apostate when they left JWs but became one afterward. Most bizaard thing I herd in a while. Look at the verbage. Instead of saying "Jehovah's witnesses must shunn family members and disassociated persons" they beat around the bush trying to imply it. It reminds me of those disclaimers on car commercials. How come they just don't spell it out? WHy mush they try to make you feel guilty instead of benevolent? Because for a laundry list of reasons they are painted into a corner. If they said that JWs would loose almost every civil case they have in the world because nobody would want them raising kids, or building kingdomhalls in their neighborhoods (and you know NY is all about the rent, infact I wouldnt be supprised if they build halls just to sell them later). It would become a quality of life issue and those can't hide behind religious freedom. Halls would be condemed on most foriegn soil.

Reb 8 it happend in 2000. The GB officially reitred from chair. No anointed chair the wts corps. It started as a ruse but now that every thign is in cement they don't even know if they are going to perpetuate the GB. Officially the GB are just a bunch of monks nothing more. THe "coup" happend long ago. It is just finally setting in to the writing dpt. They seem to have manic depression and schizophrenia. THey make no sense anymore. I long for the watchtowers of old that were historically inaccurate,backward, spiteful, but made sense and had direction. Now they have gotten into comic book style writing just to make deadlines and fill pages. They bust gapping holes in wts doctrine just trying to make deadline while staying current and relevant. At the assymbly they said 2 things make most jws leave poverty (in developing lands), and media/entertainment (in developed lands.).

I am gonna stick my neck out, and Megadude shut up.
They actually don't say becuase you are DAed your family can't talk to you (for various reasons that make them look bad). But they are protected by law to not talk to you. I mean shunning is a civil right just like boycotting. THe problem is you are now "wordly" again and thus can be considered "bad association" or the more incorrect yet borad brushed term "not of our sort". Even thought that verse only applies to "annointed". It really depends on how serious they are, or you are. IT is the JW eqivalent of a spiritual annulment. The collateral damage has to do with how much intimacy was involved.
Many elders plop out DAing as a get out of jail free card. It works wonderfully for people that have no JW family.It allows them to cut their losses. THe problem is guilt. YOur family may feel guilty chilling with you and if they don't someone that wants to antagonize them will always try to leverage it on them. Come to think of it I think it is an social thing. I know some JWs that don'r mind being with a DFed person but DAed people are the devil and vice versa. I think it depends on what they think is a valid excuse.

),the genetic sequence seems to havve originated about a million years ago.. genetics calcalcuted from the numbers of changes in the sequence how old it was.. what do jws make about this and other genetic studies that show humans to be very old..

It is so far from JW radar it is not worth mentioning. The awake always conflicts the watchtower on dates so most likely you'l see that in some awake. THe awake let the horse out of the barn on old humans a long time ago so it is not really that dramatic. THe problem is they use incomplete journalism. Talking over or around the heads of most of its audience who is not even interested nor versed. So anyone that knows the soucre they are quoting will be shocked that they,or thier sources inadvertently tarnish the watchtower's credibility every few articles.

Actualy you are right about the pain pills souring your mood. THey are depressants and over time they well cause depression. Ask any heiroin user. I am not addicted to them remotely, and can stop anytime I want. But seriously I am alergic to most narcotics. I think it is an aquired immune reaction from such prolonged use since infancy. Certain narcotics make my throat swell and tounge go numb. I am deathly alleric to morphine which just makes me stop breathing after a few doses. It makes fighting pain unorthodox because most drugs will kill me in a few useful doses.
I was not always like this. It is a snowball efect from decades of use. The immune system logs every chemical in the blood stream and tries make an antidote for it if it can. Each time it sees the chemical it responds harder to fight it. Thus forming an allergy. I am forced to take stuff I am allergic to sometimes and gulp a benadryl chaser. So I am one of the few people that can quit any narcotic cold trukey do to the fact they make me so sick.
Believe it or not you can get allergic to blood transfussions too. Most people are never sick enought to take blood or other drugs long enought to find this out. If you told a doctor "Well I don't want a blood transfusion because I don't want to develop an allergy or eliminate compatable organ donors" they'll allways start talking about how you'll never take enought blood to develope such problems or that they are rare. One of my friends that has the same disease I do started down the path of kdney failure because of so many blood transfusions. Another friend that passed due to the complications of disease hemoraged from his eyes and vomited blood from one of his transfusions.
I think you are right about the spiritual problem. It can inflame illnesses.
