Send a great big G'day to an aussie visitor who needs sympathy right now

right now there's a friend who needs a friend in sydney.. you've all 'been there' and can help him thru' it.. what do you say to someone who knows in his head that the borg just isn't right, yet was brought up "in the troof" and so knows nothing else.. then the borg's inhumane judicial procedures can cause unspeakable mental anguish and emotional disturbance.

yet at this time there's simply no-one to turn to - a recipe for disaster.. so....would you give some words of reassurance to our new friend?

tell him what it's like to be free of the borg.

Hi Aussie Friend!!

You are NOT alone. As someone who was raised in the "truth", with an Elder dad and pioneer mom, I understand all too well the horrors of this organization. I have been a victim of the "judicial process" ( I'm not df'd) and as bad as mine was, my beautiful younger sister's was much worse. I despise them with every fiber of my being and have only in the last couple of weeks begun to let go of the fear, guilt, and shame the org. puts upon its members. And that is because I found this board and other sites that have enabled me to put my emotions aside and enabled me to see the duplicity, deceit, and TRUE colors of the WTBTS.

Please remember to be true to yourself. That is so important. And know that there are people who are more than willing to help you through this most difficult time. Lean on them, let them help, and you will begin to heal quickly, just as I have.

evidently, mastercard and visa have said that this scam is currently being worked throughout the midwest, with some variance as to the product or amount, and if you are called, just hang up.. it goes like this: person calling says, "this is carl patterson and i'm calling from the security and fraud department at visa.

I apologize, I should have prefaced with "reverse hostility or violence during field service"!

Yes, it is most true; one of those dubs at the door (not the doggie murderer) was engaged to one of my family members.

As for myself, a very irate lady chased me with a broom. But only after I told her God was going to destroy her.

I was 5, what did I know!

I am so happy to have found y'all on this board. It's like I have found the family I have been searching for my whole life. All of you are so brave! And such an inspiration to people like me. THANK YOU!!!!!!

Hostility or Violence during Field Service

True story -

Quite a while ago 2 "brothers" went to a door and an elderly lady answers and at her feet is a tiny, tiny yappy dog (Yorkshire Terrier, I think). They give their spiel, all the while the dog is carrying on and on and on. Elderly lady says she'll take the mags, goes inside to get the "contribution" and leaves doggie outside with the dubs. Doggie is still making a racket, and one of the dubs takes his book bag and smacks the doggie to shut him up.

Doggie keels over.

Doggie isn't moving.

Doggie isn't breathing.

Doggie is oh so dead.

Elderly lady is coming back. What to do with dead doggie?

Why, pick it up and stick it in the bookbag.

Elderly lady comes back to door. Where is doggie she asks. They have no clue they say.

They thank her and after she shuts the door they remove dead doggie from bookbag and leave him on her front step.

This is my very first post. Excuse me while I dive under my desk and await the freak bolt of lightening that is going to strike the huge ass tree outside my window that is going to crash through the roof knocking me out on the ONE day I'm not wearing my designer hard hat.
