Yep.. I thought Reese Witherspoon was amazing in her role as June Carter and deserved the award..I think Joquin Phoenix deserved it also..but I can see why the actor who won Best Male actor was awarded it.. I thought Jon Stewart did a great job.. No one is as good as Billy Crystal as far as I am concerned..Ben Stiller was hilarious as usual..

Curry tilapia fish(which is boneless and tastes very mild) stir-fried with green peppers,, mushrooms and green onions over rice...very yummmy....Also.. soldiers are toast cut into fingers so you can dip them into the boiled egg.. It was my favorite breakfast growing up with British parents.. I haven't had it for a long time though...

Well, I like call ID so I can look and see who is calling. Although I know some calls are blocked and come up unknown or blocked.. In that case I just let my answering machine pick up and they can leave a message if it is something important.. They seem to be getting smarter with answering machines now though,,because the caller will start saying hello..I think to make you think it is someone you know and you will pick up the phone..

Watchtower can be sued for NOT allowing blood transfusions ???
by run dont walk in.
i was watching the news today in alberta canada, saw a preview for the 6 o'clock news tonight mountain time channel 3, there will be a piece about a former jw, father (i believe it is lawrence) who's daughter died of leukima, and was not allowed to have blood because of her religion.
apparently the court has ruled that he can sue the watchtower for negligence, hopefully someone can tape this news piece and put in on the net, unfortunately i don't know how to do that.. go lawrence !!!!!!!!

I'm wondering what "new light" the society will come up with to deal with this situation..Will they change their doctrines in some way to avoid further lawsuits? It will be interesting to see what comes from this lawsuit.

People who read the WT are MEAN!
by kristyann ini am having kind of a bad day.
i know that i really should not complain... i know that i have things so much better than most people on this planet, and everyday that i wake up with my health and a roof over my head and something to eat, i am having a great day compared to most.
it makes me think... why do i even bother throwing them out?

Well I know it is annoying and frustrating,, but lots of people have problems and crap going on in their lives and the first person in their line of vision at that time , gets the brunt of their frustration,,She was probably just venting on you..I see people like that in the grocery store.. driving their cars... its a stressful society.. don't give up on everyone because some are self-centred . Look at all the new posters here...we have to be getting thru to someone ..at some point..

Every time I drive by our local congregation, I can't help wishing it would go up in flames or some other fitting destruction,, when it is empty of course....but really,, vandalism doesn't accomplish anything.. it just makes the JWS believe more how they are "persecuted for their faith"

Actually, the most heinous is, "We'll just have to wait on Jehovah."
With those words, dubs dismiss all the personal dreams and aspirations of an individual, snuffing out creativity, fulfillment and the instinctive search for authentic self that humans have been engaged in since the dawn of time. At the same time, this phrase cancels out hope for the future, for a better condition in life, and worst of all, the need to act in your best interests and aspire to achieve personal satisfaction.
It is the worst possible thing one could say to a child or teenager and thoroughly dampens the spirit of persons of all ages. It is a matter of control and co-dependence, and is the WTS' most vicious, evil tool.
Yep.. its true.. they're dream squashers..and they suck the life out of you if let them..
