jw I have read the bible from cover to cover .. and no where does it say the GB or the JW organization is god-inspired..I seriously don't even believe you are really a JW..

God led me to the JW congregation.
by jw ini rented a house in the late !970's and the contents in the home were given to me.. it happened to be books: ( making my life happy, revelation, children bible stories, listening to the great teacher ) i was enjoying the reading.. -----------------------------------.
a few years later began to notice awake magazines in doctor offices, and other public places and read them and enjoyed them.. ------------------------------------.
late 1980's my 7th son was 2 yrs.

jw.. I think fairchild asked you a fair question as to why you are here on a forum that is full of ex-jws.. we will not support your views or encourage you in your jw views.. I don't find any of your replies to make any sense and you are not answering any questions sensibly or reasonably..

there is the link, i was unable to edit the audio file like i usually do to take out the blank spaces and amplify the volume, so if someone could do that with the wav file on the server that would be great!.

How did you cope?

my whole life belongs to the society.
all my friends are witnesses, my family are witnesses, even my job is dedicated to the society.

I was dealing with a lot of depression and feeling sick when I was attending meetings and trying to deal with field service.. It was such a relief when we finally decided to break away and be free from the organization..A major reason that I felt it was not god inspired organization was when they wanted to disfellowship my mother because she had mental illness...It wasn't' until I found this forum years later I realized all the lies the society teaches..Just knowing you have made the right decision and chosen freedom over living a life dictated by a cult makes it easier to begin a new life...free and independent thinking...

If you are happy with the JWS that's great.. but God didn't lead you there.. because the JWS are not god inspired.. they are run by a bunch of egotistical men who write dribble they call Bible publications and then brainwash their members into selling them from door to door.. for jusst a small contribution to the society.. of course

Hi pyrojoe.. welcome to the forum.. My husband and I were raised as JWS..we made the decision to leave 20 years ago.. We officially disassociated ourselves because we just wanted to have no affliiation with them at all.. We didn't want to be D'Fd as we did nothing we felt warranted that.. We just wanted to be able to have free thinking and live our lives with out being judged by the org..

When your door bell rings, do you still think it might be the elders?

i live in an apartment building, and i just heard the door bells ringing here and there, which automatically made me think that it could be the jw's.... when someone is at the door here, knocking or ringing, i'm always fearful that it will be them....

Nope.. because our house seems to be marked on their territory as apostates or at least disassociated..My mother in law still attends the congregation in our area.. So they would know we still live here.. I have seen Dubs on the street but they always bypass our house..

back in the good ole' days, witnesses used to come in all the time to see me.
i would say that there were maybe three or four families that came in regularly.. since the announcement was made though, i've had at least 35 diiferent people come in.

Richie.. that is the best way to show the Dubs there is life after the borg..They all expect when you leave that your life will crumble and you will come crawling back to the mother ship..Being shunned isn't fun I know.. but we have the secret weapon.. we have freedom and free thinking.. and they don't!!!!!! And great to hear you have shook up the elders enough that they feel they need to try to keep the other young people from drifting away... You have lots to be proud of..
