It really shows they do not have any direction or spiritual influence from God.. They are just a cult..that ruins peoples lives by deception and brainwashing tactics .

maybe not - but the cano incident should make us think about an allied problem,.
namely, general corruption and rot.. many years ago, it was not unknown to find strange photos and other materials in a bethel brother's room, after he died unexpectedly.. that doesn't prove that there is a massive problem with child molestation.

Do you still pass in front of your kingdom hall?
by JH insince the last few days, i pass right in front, and i noticed the vines growing on the side of the kingdom hall.
now, the whole side wall is completely covered with vines.. looking at the vines, it reminded me of a face with a goatee or a beard.
so, if they can have vines on their building, a brother should be allowed to have a goatee....

Yeah.. I still pass (ummm not gas ,, in my car) my ole Kingdum Hall.. My husband remarked how many new shiny cars there were in the parking lot the last time we went by.. It was a Tues nite.. guess some kind of useless meeting...looks like the bruders are doing ok financially to be buying those shiny expensive cars.. oh well its all for the service of Jah.. I suppose...

I have to agree.. The guys are definitely better so far than the girl singers.I thought that Avila was one of the best as well.There was one other girl.. I forget her first name.. last name was loverock or something like that.. she was from a little town in BC.. I liked her singing as well.

I have to wonder whether the judges on AI let some through just for the fun value
Thats true.. For example Crazy Dave.. he didn't have any talent except he was nuts and wasn't afraid to act it. All the guys last nite were great.. I like.... hmmm. I forget his exact name now.. I think Chad Doucette.. He tried to make it last year . Sass said his voice is really unique and I think so too.. I loved the way he sang the song..
Also.. the guy from Abbotsford BC is really good too.. Well they are all really talented this year.. It will be hard to choose.. Ben Malroony(Im sure I spelt that wrong) is a sweetie too.. Zak can be really annoying.. I think sometimes though he is trying to push the contestants to be the best they can be.

Hi Lady Lee.. I agree with tonites show.. The talent is amazing..It always seems to me that the talent on Canadian Idol is so much better than most of the talent on American Idol..(no offense to American talent).

Dubs will twist and turn events like this to prove they are Jehovah's only true chosen people.And the PO used that same expression "sign of the times" that they have been using since I attended in the 1970's and early 80's..Really how does a fire in the KH prove anything about a sign or the times we live in???

How Jehovah's Witnesses are told to treat disfellowshipped Relatives.
by jwfacts inin another thread it was mentioned the witnesses do not shun disfellowshipped relatives, so i thought i would copy a few articles that show the watchtower says quite definitely that they are to almost totally shun relatives, along with some examples that i know personally.
i personally know many that have not been contacted by their parents for years;my cousin was my best friend, and for a year before my disfellowshipping week after week i spent hours with her and her child, who spent 4 months of his first year in hospital.
on the day of my disfellowshipping i was informed that i am no longer welcome there, and i have not seen my second cousin for 6 months now.

My husbands parents were counselled many times to stop associating with us but they refused . They said that they would never shun famlily. My fatheri-n -law passed away 3 years ago.. They were expert fence sitters.. He was an elder yet had many "worldly friends" that he associated with and they pretty much did what they wanted except for celebrating Christmas and other " pagen" holidays.. They contrbuted a lot of money to the congreagation..so we believe they "bought" themselves the right to do what they wanted without being questioned.
