I'm mad as hell (New Here)
by Miss Bliss ini'm brand spanking new to this forum.... my story is a long one that i will save for rainy day....however i will say i have been out for a long time 10+ years and when i left i really left.
i walked away at 20 (in my heart i was mentally gone at 17) and never really looked back much.
i was raised jw my father was an elder my mother an off and on pioneer (my father is no longer except he goes to the memorials, poor bastard and again thats another long story) i was not shunned by my parents both of whom were still very much in although my father left shortly after me and i would like to think that my bravery and courage allowed him to do the same.

He claims to be one of the anointed, he's df'd, but he won't allow 'apostates' to post on his board. The definition of 'apostate' is entirely of his own making. Going over to his board is a little bit like watching a train wreck, fascinating in a horrid sort of way.

I finally got to meet my family after 20 years!!!!
by FreedomFrog intoday i got to go to the stapleton family reunion.
we as kids didn't get to go to these reunions because, as my parents would say "bad association".
most of my family (including uncles) i haven't seen in over 20 yrs.

so let me get this straight
by 4digitcode ini have been on here for only the past 3 days or so....so i don't really know how it goes.. this is an 'apostate' site right?.
so today i've learned that there is just the ol' regular apostate and an 'active' apostate.. but are there actually active witnesses on this site as well??.
because i just saw a topic about someone asking for advice on how to do a talk?.

They Actually Said it!- A rant Brought to you By sw29
by saywhat29 incan't quote word for word, but at the dc this friday, the last talk given, the speaker actually said "not to question the faithful and discreet slave" and everybody around me was eating it up like it was cake.
my insides were churning when that guy said that crap.. and the funny thing is that if i hadn't been reading this board, reading the evilomg!
apostate literature they 'warned' us not to, then i would have been feeling guilty for my doubt, for my lack of faith, for being different, and all the rest of that crap.

You have my sympathy. I am so glad that I don't have to attend those dreadful things called conventions anymore.

Hello people, :)!
by Littledreamfaery inahh i suppose after posting a bit its time to say hello.
hello people, all of you :).
who am i, well i'm the middle child of my parents, who are ex jw's, so i'm not sure if that makes me one since they stopped attending jw occasions when i was 11, but having experienced being part of it, and having not enjoyed it i can say i class myself as an ex-jw.
