  this issue came up with my jw nephew(17).

  i jumped at the chance at using it to prove that the org is a fraud but then the focus changed slightly.

  i said, "do you know how many people's lives were disrupted by this event.

  A Paduan, are you asking if they were being threatened? It's a natural reaction in people who are working a little more leisurely than they feel they should. But seriously, there were a lot of mixed motives at the time. Many sincere people got hurt and many insincere people got caught out.

  Danny, according to that parable you should get your reward whether you grumble or not. I hope you win out in the end! Keep up the good work.

  A Paduan, yes, but, these weren't last minute workers. They were already employed and when they heard that the boss was coming they knuckled down. (Obviously, some were sincere. But there were many whose motives were suspect).

  Danny, this isn't about whether or not the WTS is guilty. There's no doubt about that!

  i spent my whole life going door-to-door in this town until i was 38 years old.

  i have been out for over 30 years and no one has ever mentioned me calling at their home.

  I'M GETTING REALLY FORGETFUL

  i swear to god, i'm getting alzheimers even though i'm still pretty young (late 30s).

  my mind wanders alot (it always has) and i forget things.......hell the other day i put the jam in the bottom of the stove because my mind was wandering.......

  anyone else think they've got alzheimers?

  Yes, Mary. I even asked my Dr. if it was possible that I was getting Alz. He said I was too young and that if I realised I was forgetting things then I didn't have it. Don't know if he was right or not. But I felt relieved.
