  i know i'm not jwd's most popular participant but even i look at this place as a means of support sometimes.

  i just wanted to say that this morning my father died of a heart attack while in field service.. i am on my way to new mexico with my daughter.

  as some of you know i am df'd so you know how that goes when attending a jw funeral.

  Do You Realize That You Lived In Constant Fear as A Witness?

  always had to wonder whether you might "stumble" someone.

  Yes, Minimus. It's good to be away from the constant fear. Life has enough frights all on it's own.

  It was during a Service Meeting part discussing the blood card that I first realized how much anxiety and fear was being layed on us at the meetings. The KM had a section telling parents to make sure that their children had they're blood cards on them at all times. Even out playing with their friends. It was a light bulb moment.

  In Belgium, we are fighting against discimination after exclusion

  dear friends,.

  an ex-jw, jacques, entered an action against the watch tower.. reason of such an action : discrimination after exclusion (we know that many among us were suffering (or are still suffering) because, after their excommunication, they were shunned by the wt members and by those of their family "in the truth").. the court of liege (a town in belgium) delivered his jugement a few days ago.. for the moment, jacques has lost his cause, but something has been gained !.

  The only thing I can think of that would be somewhat conclusive, is if there was a Bethel personnel list. Then it would be a matter of comparing the numbers from year to year. Or, like you said, some internal document talking about it.

  Even if they sell more property in Brooklyn it doesn't give us a clear indicator. They're moving alot of their staff out of the city.

  You're right that this is a report that's very hard to substantiate. They are obviously going to do it in a way that makes as few waves as possible. If they do it gradually, the rank and file will never clue in.

  I don't think that would be a good way of determining whether they are downsizing or not. They are well known for saying one thing and doing the exact opposite.

  my doc just wrote a prescription for this.

  antidepressant that aids in chronic pain, i have googled it already and am curious if anyone else has been on it or knows someone etc.

  he told me he wants to keep a close eye on me in case of complications.

  For me, the side effects went away after I was on it awhile. I've been using it for quite a few years now. I take it at night so that the pain doesn't keep me from sleeping. I still have pain, just not as bad. And it doesn't make any difference in the daytime now. Except that I'm more rested and better able to cope.

  look before i get started i just want to say i'm new so hello everybody.

  i've been disfellowshiped for two years and some times still contemplate going back.

  i still make pretty much all of my meetings but i just havent wrote a letter yet because i realy dont miss the drama that goes along with being a witness.anyway i found this web site that said something about the jw's getting involved with the un and it made me curious.
