ok, here is a quick synopsis.
i was born and raised "in the truth".
i was df when i was 17 and moved away, got married, had kids etc....i came back into the "truth" at around 27 out of guilt and a strong need/desire to speak with my mother, father and sister again but since they lived back east and i lived out west they didn't really know that after a few years i became inactive again and now that dad's passed away and mom is sick i don't have the heart to tell them that i haven't been to a single meeting in over 10 years (except for the ones i go to when i go back to visit them and pretend like everything is aok and i am 100% yada,, yada, yada) any way, i just told my mom that me and the family are going on a cruise over spring break and you guessed it, she says, "oh no, you are going to miss the .....memorial!!!!????

ok lets have some fun, so who would you pick to be .
a. of the apostate anointed class(limit to only 144,000), and.
b. of that class who would you vote in as part of the governing body?.
a and b - Narkissos. We need someone to oversee translations.
We might need to appoint RunningMan to help there, too.

hi dudes & dudesses,.
i haven't posted on here for a while, so i thought i'd say hi.. i left off visiting the forum last year cos i figured i needed to forget all about the jw's and re-invent myself and my life.
harder than i thought though as all my family are jw's and infuriating as they are, they're pretty much the only friends i have at the moment.
Hi Asa. Welcome back. I remember you, but you wouldn't remember me. I don't think I was posting at that time. (I lurked for a long time before I started posting).

Well, you know what it says in Rev. Those who worship the beast will have no rest, day or night.
xjwms - When I read that expression, "special week of activity", I got the creeps too. Amazing how some expressions can still resonate after so long.

anybody here on the board make their own wine?
we just put together our first batch.
crabapple wine.
Well, it has to be racked at least two more times. But it has to age after being bottled. There's only a few wines that you can drink right away after bottling. Rhubarb is one. Most have to age to be drinkable. Maybe that's what was wrong with your wine? Maybe you just drank it too soon. Some have to be aged a year or more to be palatable. With apple, it's at least three months. So, it could be more than six months if I have to rack it more than twice.

social security called this morning and told me that i've been determined to be permanently disabled and the payments will continue!
it's incredible that it only took 2 months from the date i filed!
they usually fight a person all the way through the countless appeals process!.
Wonderful news, Frannie!!!!
