  hey guys,.

  i was reading popular science and i staggered across a line that suggested that russia had never landed men on the moon.

  that struck me as blatantly false, i knew i'd seen footage of cosmonauts on the moon.

  To keep the thousands of folk quiet who worked on the Apollo launches; no deathbed confessions etc would be ASTONISHING...

  I wonder about the educational level of the 6% who 'don't believe'....

  i am forcing myself to do this - i feel nauseated, depressed... my hands are shaking.

  IF IT'S THE TRUTH, IT CAN WITHSTAND...

  ...most anything, can't it?

  If Jehovah/God is real, and wants you to know him or know he's real, can he not deal with some honest questions from you?

  IF the organization is one and the same with Jehovah, won't he make THAT clear to you?

  REAL TRUTH stands on its own merit...

  Ask Jehovah/God to reveal real truth to you....

  If he's real, he can handle your questions!

  Interesting article...

  While there were blanket statements in the article, the statements were made by a black man who has strong opinions about black leadership and social structure. Shouldn't he have the right to speak in strong terms? Others on the opposite end of the political/social spectrum certainly have!

  thanks to lilycurly, i don't think i will be able to even nominally remain a witness for much longer.

  the whole "fading" thing goes against the grain anyway.. i arrived here, as my first venture into ex-jw land, as a lurker.

  within a few hours, i spotted two people i knew whoto my surprisehad not yet become ex-ex-jws but were still posting here.

  sanity will prevail when we get the people of pennsylvania (and every other state) to back the reforms needed to protect children.

  i was a special asst district attorney in the phila grand jury investigation, and i can tell you it was extraordinarily frustrating that the law posed nothing but roadblocks.

  there are serious insufficiencies in the laws that protect children, and unless citizens demand changes in the law, as the report suggests, we'll have more of the same.
