  I would add: teach classic principals of LOGIC.

  It is amazing how few folk can logically verbalize WHAT they believe and WHY..

  what's fascinating about this article, is that no where can you find "cabbie is a jehovah's witness".

  yet, the back cover of awake!

  and watchtower's are full of people who "return lost items.".

  I agree. Few mere mortals would know WHAT to do with loose stones, even diamonds.

  Even acknowledging the generally known value of a diamond, cash has a dif psychological impact.

  defd/derrick is a current-jw posting on this board.

  he's been on for quite some time now, maybe not a year, but awhile.

  many have tried to show him the many ways the watchtower doesn't live up to its claim of being god's organization, but he seems unflappable.. so where do you stand on him now?

  many of us just encourage Bible Study (as opposed to Bible reading) and actual reasoning from the Scriptures as opposed to quoting Reasoning From the Scriptures....

  dunno... my friend, who spent 2 years there before she returned to mother texas, ASSURES me you kiwis drink wine, and in quantity!

  Can i order some of the rarer, smaller vintages?

  this is a story that i heard today...

  my boss has some friends, we'll call them tom and beverly.

  he was going through a divorce and my boss had a crush on him.

  Here's what the law says:

  Any adult who has a SUSPICION that a child is being physically, sexually or emotionally abused MUST report to law enforcement.

  The statute strongly favors the protection of the child.

  Because the statute is so loose, an anonymous report is possible.

  Failure to report in Texas is a criminal offense.

  (If you'd like a copy of the statute by email, drop me an email..)

  ALWAYS report any suspicion of abuse. If it's wrong, so be it.

  If he has played with this before, a report may get his attention.
