Filmmaker Looking for JW Pedophile Victim CAN ANYONE HELP?

a very reputable documentary film producer would like to talk to a woman between 19-25 years old who is taking legal action in order to vindicate child sex crimes perpetrated against her and covered up by the wt society or their elders.

specifically, the "cover up," as in not reporting the crime to secular authority, should have occurred after 2002 in canada or us.

if you can help out or have information, please pm me.

ARIZONA LAWS ON PEDOPHILIA....HELP NEEDED

does anyone here know if the laws in arizona require a priest or minister or elder to report cases of child abuse to the authorities?

someone i know needs this information asap and you can probably guess why.. thanks..

I am NOT giving legal advise, as i do not know the entire circumstance....

JC were found by the Calif court to not fall under protections of clergy privilege.

If anyone else is present when 'confession' is made, in general, any privilege is broken.

If child makes outcry, no privilege exists.

If perp 'confesses' (in some states), and no independent information comes to 'priest' (from child/parents of child, etc), privilege MAY apply.

If 'investigation' is underway, by religious committee or org (e.g. JC), no privilege exists, as, by definition, other info came to JC, or there would be no 'investigation'.

knowing that this silencing of victims is one of the wts's main weapons of defence, why did the victims agree to remain silent?

is this not selling your soul to the wts?

Am I being dumb?

i really and truly believe that my father did not abuse either of my two younger sisters, just me.

my one sister was abused by my brother, which makes me think he was abused so as to act like that.. i left the jw's after finding he could get responsibilities again and because i realised that i would always be viewed as bad association no matter how hard i tried because i just didn't fit in.. i never wanted to take it any further than the congregation because i did not want to rip my family apart.. but if i had a child i would not let him alone with them.. can someone just abuse one victim (maybe two if my bro was abused as i think he was)?

or do they always abuse more?.

Some offenders are 'situational offenders', who do not necessarily PREFER a child as a sexual partner, and would perhaps prefer an age appropriate partner, but instead accept a child as a sexual partner because the child is available, and situational stressors (financial/relational/psychological/physical) exist.

It is possible this describes your situation.

That said, most child molesters have an 'age and sex of preference', and choose children to molest who fit their preference.

Perhaps you were his preference, and your sister was not.

This information comes from expert medical studies..

Can the Elders Be Prosecuted for Covering it up?

ok i got to thinking, the elders cover up and do not report allegations of child molestation and if they know of a known molester amongst them they do not warn the cong, correct me if i am wrong but isn't that a crime?

sexual offenders are supposed to stay away from areas were child ren congregate, such as a playground, school, library etc.... jessica lunsfords neighbor was charged with harbouring a pedo, (he was not registered at her home) isn't that the same thing the elders are doing?.

anyone care to enlighten me?.

Almost all states have a reporting requirement, and criminal penalties if the report is not made, but few district attorneys actually prosecute these cases.

Generally, the 'failure to report' isn't even known until years later.

As well, some religious orgs, including WTS, parse words related to 'clergy privilege'; whether 'clergy' are required to report abuse revealed to them in the course of spiritual counsel.

In any case, no parent should EVER be told he/she SHOULD NOT report, and this is a common fact pattern in the JW cases I have reviewed.

Likewise, OF COURSE no man or woman who has been accused of sexual abuse should ever hold a position of authority in an organization. Parents believe those who 'wear the banner' of an org are 'safe' for their kids. This, in my opinion, in the primary sin of the WTS org; keeping perps around kids, with an ostensible 'seal of approval' from the org...
