  No, but than growing up I was the kid who carried his bible on the top of his books at school.

  Life is one lesson after another, guess I'm still in school. But the JW's were a hard lesson.

  A Thought About Assemblies

  since many of you already have read the annual commands from the society about conduct at assemblies.

  ( "don't cook food in your room, blah, blah, blah") , you might consider the meaning of their counsel about bringing.

  lunch.. i think they're scared.. they fear that, if enough witnesses leave the assembly to go to burger king, they might come under pressure to allow.

  What happens to your publisher's cards when you become inactive?

  when i walked away from the borg, i was under the impression that after six months of being inactive .

  that my publisher card was trashed.

  actually, i was told this by an elder.

  Thanks for the info Blondie. I was told by the elders when they refused to take

  action on my abuser that his cards where no long on file. Funny, I was told

  I couldn't take my spiritual brother into a court of law. They repeated that order

  to me twice that night. Than before the night was over, told me because he was

  inactive that they would do nothing. All of a sudden he was of no interest to them.

  lately, i feel more and more disturbed over everything the watchtower stands for.

  i can't stomach the jws.

  i can't tolerate their pettiness.

  I have a sister that will not speak to me, it's been close to 10 years.

  I've never been DF'd or DA'd, but because I will not go to meetings she'll

  have nothing to do with me......Christ like wouldn't you say.

  Now that my wife has just left the borg they may come gunning

  for both of us. Had an elder in her congregation leave a message and

  would like to sit and talk with both of us...........I DON'T THINK SO!!!!!!!!

  I think the elders in her {{OLD}} congregation are wondering if I have my wife

  tied up in a closet. I've twisted her mind is what they are thinking.
