Noticed a "typo" that springs from ignorance, not hitting the wrong key, "Mute" instad of Moot.

I noticed that too. They thought they were using a very clever word, but even the muckity- mucks at the WT are rather stupid in their vocabulary skills.

2 years ago today, my grandson began his walk from orlando fl to washington dc to publicise the plight of homeless children.

he was 14 at the time.

wow, how time has flown.

Hi people,

Like last summer, I've registered to participate in a fundraising event for the National MS Society called The Ride Across Minnesota (TRAM). Donations made in my name will help me qualify to make a 5 day 300 mile bicycle ride across the Minnesota landscape. Donated money will go toward research and outreach programs for people suffering from multiple sclerosis.

Last year's ride, my first, was a fantastic experience and I am looking forward to doing it again. I'll have to be in tip top shape because we will be travelling through some bluff country along the Mississippi River in southeastern Minnesota. Because of a nagging back injury I wasn't sure I could do it this year, but I am feeling better now, so I've just registered and am in the process of getting in shape for the ride. It's rather late in the fundraising season so I am way behind last year's fundraising effort. If you could help me out that would be fantastic.

Harold Camping suffers a stroke

a california broadcaster who wrongly forecast the return of jesus last month is now hospitalized after suffering a stroke.. harold camping, 89, of oakland, calif.-based family radio was reportedly taken by ambulance thursday night from his home in alameda, calif.. "he had a stroke, it was on his right side," a neighbor of camping's told the oakland tribune, noting that she and her husband helped and comforted camping's wife, shirley, as the event took place.. "his speech appears to be a little bit slurred but otherwise he's ok," the neighbor said, after her husband spoke with shirley yesterday.

"(shirley) said he was doing good ... and the only thing that's affected is his speech.".

Famous B-17 Liberty Belle crashed this morning in Illinois

this plane was one of the few flying fortresses still in operating order and was scheduled for an airshow next weekend.. pilot reported a fire on board, could not make it back to the field, and had to put it down in a cornfield.

all 7 persons on board escaped, but the aircraft is a total loss..

Did the owner of the pigs get compensated? If not he really got screwed. I bet he was mighty ticked off.
