My gut feeling is that your childhood experience was a genuine OBE (but then, who am I to say). Others have a way destroying one's ability (especially children's) for genuine experiences such as OBEs because they "know better", and make one question one's own experience.

Sometimes I'll have a lucid dream where I know I am dreaming. This is always a fun time because then I simply will myself to fly but it never lasts for very long. How about you? Can you induce out-of-body experiences, and if so, how do you do it?

my sister...... is a psycho!!!!.
she's "in feild service" sending out letters to people that didn't answer at the door.
(which is already a little too much) she dressed up in her meeting cloths, head to foot, in order to be presentable while she is writing those letters.
If I should get one of those letters I'll take my clothes off before I read it.
i think this might be a new twist on this kind of topic, i will start.. a subject that is of interest to me is awakening, and off hand my list would include vanilla sky, waking life, and fight club.
there's probably one or two i am forgetting, anyone who thinks of one please add to this list.

the more time that passes, the less i even think about it.
i dont really believe in it but now and again i get a nagging fear of "what if we're all wrong and it is true" and boom big lighting rods and earthquakes come and shatter us all and i think damn and i almost beat jah on this one .
its so silly i know im right about my decison to leave the dubs but they psychologicaly messed with us for so long sometimes your like woah what if theyre right!.

Awakening: Groundhog Day (a personal favorite), The Razor's Edge (Tyrone Power version is superior to Bill Murray version)
I know there are others I have seen and will include them when I think of them

i an reading a book by a writer: eckhart tolle, called: the power of now - a guide to spiritual englightenment.
i like the book very, are there anybody that have read this book?
Stillness Speaks is even better if listened to - as with all of Tolle's stuff read/listen with a totally open mind.
