  hi guys,.

  i am so out of touch with tv shows and i have got a lot of catching up to do.. some-one suggested dexter and it was fantastic and what an ending.

  dear brothers and sisters :our heavenly father,jehovah, is the personification of love.hence the bible states :"god is love".

  (1 john 4:8) even though jehovah is almighty ,his word never says ,"god is power" or , "god is might".he bases his rule primarily on love.how this attracts us to him!.

  How can God be the "personification" of anything? Does that even make sense? God is God, not a person. God is not a "dictator", well OK, but it sure seems the GB is.

  this is an interesting article posted by the christian left from thw huffington post.

  i know jehovah's witnesses do not teach the rapture (except maybe for the 144,000) so all of them expect to live through the tribulation (whatever that was to them).

  "they sure know how to create, feed and then exploit people's fears" true of nearly all religions that.

  I agree. Televangelists are the most brazen about it though.

Though he did get 'new light' and released a video saying that there was a chance, he named it Left Behind and my dumb self ordered a copy just in case."

  Jack van Impe (what a clown) and his fawning wife, Rexella, give me the giggles. Boy, they sure know how to create, feed, and and then exploit people's fears.

  Is anyone here hooked on Downton Abbey?

  my wife got me started watching this show last year.

  we've downloaded the previous seasons on netflix and have found it to be really well done.

  the story line, scenery,costumes,old cars and compelling characters have us hooked.

  Love Thy Neighbor? Not my JW neighbors.

  i live next to jw neighbors.

  i was a jw 1000 miles away over 20 years ago, never here.

  as far as i know, nobody here knows i once was, including the neighbors.. so there wouldn't be any reason for them to shun me.

  Boy that's the truth. I've lived 2 doors away from JWs for at least 30 years and I can't remember a single instance of them acknowledging my existence with a simple hello, unless I say it first. It goes without saying they don't even look my way when we are outside at the same time. It's actually kind of creepy.
