I am saying this as a joke towards trinitarian reasoning but if a person acts on trinitarian assumption the bible could be used to prove Moses is Jehovah God of the old testaments. One of the things that I notice with Trinitarians is that they are constantly using "circular" reasoning in their attempts to prove Jesus is Jehovah. They seem to rely heavily on if a certain title is used for Jehovah and is again used for Jesus then that is proof positive that Jesus is Jehovah. But this circular reasoning can lead trinitarians into very embarassing positions. Moses is called Savior in the old testaments. Jehovah specifically states at Isaiah 43:11 that there is no Savior with me. One of the embarrassing questions for trinitarians to answer is How could Moses be called a "Savior" when Jehovah dogmatically informs bible readers he is the only Savior? When Jesus is called Savior in the NT Trinitarians jump and shout "see Jesus is Jehovah because both are called Savior" and they will acturally quote Isaiah 43:11 to prove it. But the question again is what does that make Moses? Here you will get silence from trinitarians because by their own argument this would make Moses and Jehovah God one and the same. Jesus is called the one "Mediator" between God and man. Moses is also called the"Mediator" in the OT. So by trinitarian reasoning Moses has to Jesus Christ. In the OT Jehovah said that he is the one that is "pierced" but trinitarians argue that Jesus is the one that is "pierced" so this they say proves Jesus is Jehovah. But trinitarians forget to tell people that Mary the mother of Jesus is also said to be "pierced" so this has to prove that Mary the mother of Jesus is Jehovah God. The old testaments is called "the law of Moses" but it is also called "the law of God" so again does this prove that Moses is Jehovah God because the OT is said to be both of their laws. Nebucchnezzar (sorry for the spelling error) is called "King of Kings" in the OT but Jesus is also called King of Kings so again Nebucchnezzar and Jesus are both Jehovah God according to Trinitarian reasoning. Again on Nebucchnezzar from the OT is said to "alone" know the interpretation to his dream. Since Trinitarians argue heavily on the word "alone" in Isaiah 44:24 when Jehovah says he "alone" created the earth Trinitarians argue that the word "alone" excludes Jesus from helping Jehovah created the world. So if we use this line of reasoning than Jehovah does not know the interpretation of the dream which would mean that there are some things Nebucchnezzar knows that Jehovah does not know. The next time you speak with a trinitarian bring up this points and watch him or her wiggle around for some answers.

Do you think that the elders DF'd or DA'd you because you knew to much?
by booker-t ini was reading about carl o jonsson and how the wts df'd him because he found out about the 586/607 contraversy.
i was wondering how many people are unfairly kicked out of the wts because they have some damaging info on the wts that could lead to a massive exodus.
i know when i found out about beth sarim the elders told me not to tell any other jw's about it.

I was wondering how many people are unfairly kicked out of the WTS because they have some damaging info on the WTS that could lead to a massive exodus. I know when I found out about Beth Sarim the elders told me not to tell any other JW's about it. They must have been joking because they told me this at my committee meeting before they read my DA'd letter to the congo.

That would mean that Jehovah lied when he inspired Isaiah to write this verse.Many Born-Agains argue that a "new" earth is what Jehovah is talking about and not this earth that is reserved for fire and judgement. They continue by saying that is why Peter talks about a "new heavens and "new earth" in which righteousness is to dwell. Help me out posters I am kind of confused on this one.

My guess would be Lori Mcgregor. I have a hard time believing that she ever was a JW's because she seem to have a "hatred" for JW's. I like Joan Cetnar but I would not label her "Queen Apostate" because she does not seem to have a "hatred" for JW's. I met her at a ex-JW's convention and she really seems to care about JW's. On the other hand Lori Mcgregor seems to be "full of herself" and only wants money from her books and videos. So my answer would be hands down Lori Mcgregor. Who do you vote for posters out there?

Did you know of any JW's DF'd for taking a "blood transfusion"?
by booker-t inyears ago my jw sister needing to have a c-section when she was about to deliver her baby but the doctors said she would need a blood transfusion.
my sister the devout jw's that she was at the time refused the blood transfusion and was treated like a "movie star" for her "intregety" to jehovah.
my sister could have died but she had a beautiful baby girl.

Years ago my JW sister needing to have a C-section when she was about to deliver her baby but the doctors said she would need a blood transfusion. My sister the devout JW's that she was at the time refused the Blood transfusion and was treated like a "movie star" for her "intregety" to Jehovah. My sister could have died but she had a beautiful baby girl. Now 20 years later my sister had "faded" from the JW's and her daughter had a baby out of wedlock and has nothing to do with the JW's. It just amazes me how "devout" many of us were as JW's and now no longer belong to the WT. Many of us would have died for the WT. But I was wondering Do you know of any JW's that was DF'd or DA'd or Reproved for accepting a Blood Transfusion?

Did you watch "Soap Operas" while you were a JW and was it a "sin" to watch

i was wondering if the society felt it was a "sin" for jw's to watch soaps or was it just an admonishment.
my jw "pioneering" aunt used to love watching "all my children" and mentioned it to her pioneer partner.

My JW "pioneering" Aunt used to love watching "All My Children" and mentioned it to her Pioneer partner. A few days later 2 elders came to her home and told her it was wrong for her to watch Soaps because Soaps glamorizes "Aldultery, Fornication" and good JW's should not watch it. My aunt said she tried to break away from "All My Children" but just could not stop watching. Some of the Sisters in her KH started to "mark" her as bad association until my Aunt stopped watching. So I was wondering How many "devout" JW's out there really watch Soaps or do they sneak watch them.

Do you think that "Armaggeddon"/Hellfire damnation" is just scare tactics?
by booker-t inmany people have come to believe that the churches, religions or the world today just use "punishment" as a form of scare tactic to get controll over people.
i am beginning to think maybe these people are right.
it is hard for me to believe that a "loving" god would destroy 6 billion people just to save a "few" people at armaggeddon.

Do JW's elders really want to know what kind of "sexual activities" you did
by booker-t ini know many ex-jw elders out there have the first hand knowlege of this but i was wondering do the elders really want to know everything you did when you were engage in sexual activity that got you in front of a judicial committee when you were a jw or now.
i have heard horror stories of the elders wanting to know did the person have an "orgasim" did they perform "oral sex" did they perform "anal sex" etc; i can't believe that a person could be so "nosy" as to want to know what a person did in the bedroom.
i know a girl who is now df that i work with and she said that one of the elders asked her what size penis did her boyfriend have and did she prefer "small" or large penises.

When I was put on private reproof many years ago they just want to know if the girl I dated was a jw or not. And since she was not a jw they decided to "privately" reprove me because no one knew this girl and the cong could stay clean. They told me if the girl had been a jw they would have "Publically" reprooved both of us to keep the cong clean.
