  well, it's time.

  monday morning the 17th at 6 am i go in for ye ol' hernia operation.

  i asked to be put "out" as i had the option for staying partially awake.

  switched up on abc family channel?

  last week i found out that my favorite new artist, marcel was going to be on switched up.

  his girlfriend jessica andrews was switching lives with a girl from florida.

  Switched Up on ABC Family channel? Last week I found out that my favorite new artist, Marcel was going to be on Switched up. His girlfriend Jessica Andrews was switching lives with a girl from Florida. Anyway, it was really fun to see somebody whose music you listen to live a normal life. It was so neat watching him try to help this girl do her challenge of writing and performing a song. Anyway, a lot of fun. Jessica had to work with dolphins (at a place like Sea World I guess.)

  has anyone else ever watched televangelist joel osteen, pastor of the lakewood church in houston, tx?

  i believe he is aired pretty much throughout the u.s. even being the faithless slug that i am, his sermons never, ever fail to move me.

  I first heard him a few months back and really liked the message I went away with. Usually when I see church on TV I switch the channel, but for some reason that time I didn't. He really is good.

  Had sex, left with boyfriend in the middle of the night to move in together. When elders showed up at my door (after finally finding me), introduced them and said I would never be sorry for what I did. DF'd following week. What a scandal!!!

  They like to think that they give care and counseling, but I think that their emotional growth is so stunted that they don't know how to. How caring is shunning unbelieving family members? What comfort is it that you lose your Mother, Father, Brothers and Sisters, Sons and Daughters?

  my mother told me that the co gave a talk on how a spider spins his web and it can take a very long time for the web to be made but just like that--- before you know it---it can catch its prey and devour it.

  it's the same with the world wide web, the internet.

  there are reports, according to the co, that in new york, a very prominent "anointed" man was disfellowshipped and he has his owm website where he has answered many jws questions.

  The Blame Game

  the blame game...interesting to watch.

  or when you join an organization or cult do you lose that all of the sudden?

  Finally, somebody touched on this in a thread. There are a lot of things we could all blame on other people. But it all comes down to our personal choices that we make as adults. My husband once told me of a girl he was dating. How she blamed her mom for leaving her to grow up with her grandparents. How she blames boys for exploiting her cuz she was easy, everyone was to blame except her. She didn't have a choice of who her mom left her with, but she did have a choice whether to be angry or actually live a life. She didn't have a choice that boys wanted sex, come on what teenage boy didn't, but she did have the choice to say no. Looking back on my life, there were a lot of choices I made that would be done differently if I knew everything I know now. I would have told of molestation earlier, I would have remained a virgin until I met my husband, all sorts of decisions. Accountability seems to be a hard thing for people. I for one enjoy growing and learning new things instead of wallowing in self-pity, blaming everyone else for choices I made. Where would the world be if no one was to blame for anything?

  Got a visit from a "sister" today

  ok, so its been five years since i've been a technically, active jw.

  an older lady came by to see me today.. she heard about my surgery last week and was in the area so she dropped by to say hello and wish me well.

  no jw talk at all till the end of the conversation.
