And serves you right!That's a great judgemant to make without knowing all the facts. I was disfellowshipped for the same reasons. I comited aduldery only to get rid of my JDUB husband, with the blessings of many family and friends. Sometimes it's the only way to get rid of emotionally abusive JW spouses.

Reinstatement, how to go about it.

as most her know i was df'ed 2 months ago.. i've always intended on being reonstated, not because i believe the crap, but because it just makes thinks easier all round for my kids, 2 and 6, and the family.. does anybody know how i go about this and how long it can take.. don't worry i have full intentions of letting my kids know everything about the borg.. your help would be greatly appreciated.. .

If you used to have good connections, or if your family are some of the heavies in the congregation, they'll reinstate you quickly. When I started attending meetings again I was reinstated in 3 months!
That's me biggest problem, my family are all heavies within the borg, mostly Elders, Ms's or married to one. My grandfather is one of the BIG heavies in the Australian Bethel.
When I was DF'ed the elders told me that it would only take me a few months to become reinstated.
I have no intention of letting my kids miss out on stuff just because of the JW religion.
There father is still a JW so he'll take them to assemblies etc, if they want to go. My trouble is the only family I really care about is my sister, she's just had a baby that's probably whats getting to me. Missing out on seeing her just because I'm DF'ed. I might give it a while longer and see what her stance on the whole thing is.

How Many Here Are "Technically" Still JWs???... Who's Not??
by minimus inwhat i mean is according to the society, there are a number of persons that are "technically" "inactive" yet are viewed as jws still.
i'm sure that i'm viewed as a witness still because i am not df'd or disassociated.....what about you??

I was planning on getting reinstated the slowly rading out. I should know that that can never happed, too much head hunting. I just don't want for my kids to miss growing up with their cousisns just because of some dumb organisation.
