  I wondered why I was not at ease being a Witness.

  i wondered why i was not at ease being a witness till i learned what a cult is from many sorces, and stopped being so scared from day to day what god will do to me.

  i am still scared of what he will do to me from being raised a witness, its weird they did not teach a firey hell, but they put the same kind of fear in me.

  everytime some national problem comes along i freek, even when i no longer go to them meetings or read the tower.

  Oh, also, I think Melbourne has a couple of clothes shops doesn't it?!!!

  Definately, and a heap of factory outlets. I know all the good ones, regularly hold my own personal tour for friends and family from interstate.

  I'm thinking as a 'worldly' girl from birth I should start running a group, maybe the Lost Teens or something, take everyone out & do all the stupid crap that I was doing when I was 18 while you guys were out door knocking & doing other freaky cult shit!

  Definately, you have yur first official member. Can't believe i wasted my teenage years.

  Mine are Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc., Mary Poppins and Shreik.

  The reason I ask and I'm taking my kids to see Shreik 2 tonight and I can't wait to see it. Just a big kid a heart I suppose.

  A slick new gismo I just got!!! :D

  it's called the intelligent stick.... i'm sure that most of you have seen those little usb "stick" drives... they are small and plug into the usb port and allow you to store anywhere from 16mb to 1gb.

  i've never bought one because i did not like the idea of carrying around a stick with me everywhere i went.

  then i saw the intelligent stick.

  At the moment it is like he is having his 'worldly' teenage years (he took up smoking - I'm not happy about that!, tried some pot & got the 'adult' channel on pay TV!) after all that repression but is also having a hell of a lot more fun!

  I think I'm doing the same. Was disfellowshipped not long ago and in the last 6 months i've, had my belly button pierced, dyed my hair purple, taken up smoking (only the occasional one), had a XXX wax and am off to get my first tattoo on Tuesday. Just as well i've got a couple of kids or who knows what else i'd be doing.

  Feeling freer that i ever had.

  If you and your partner are ever in Melbourne look me up. Maybe we can go clubbing or something.

  If he has any problems "adjusting" just PM me and maybe we can chat about it.

  Explanation and clarification of policy

  we recently had a situation on the site which some may have heard about and want to explain what has transpired and also to clarify our policy in case a similar situation arises again.

  a few days ago we received a 'complaint' that someone had been the victim of another poster who was was using the forum to stalk women as some kind of sexual predator.

  naturally, as it was a serious allegation, we promised to investigate the matter and the personal friend who the person had approached suggested that they should send the evidence to me and that it would be dealt with.

  Another question for all you guys out there

  ok time to be brutally honest.. what do guys think of women with tattoo's.

  first thing that jumps into your head.. reason i ask is i'm getting my first one next week and was wondering what the general concensus is.. i am definately sure about doing it.

  thought about it for years and it took me 6 months to find the design i wanted.

  Just got Crisis of Conscience

  just got my mail order copy of crisis of conscience... got to chapter 2 in the first 20 mins!!!.

  who else has read it, and what are your thoughts ???.

  i've enjoyed it so far, and am glad to see how respectful ray franz was in his writing, with no 'outright attacks' on the wtbts.. bull!

  You just made up my mind, I've been thinking of reading it but at the moment could not handle anything that 'oughtrightly attacks' the society. A little emotionally raw at the monent.

  She said she read a few passages and that supposedly what she read was really terrible. I'm not sure what she specifically meant by that but I kind of dropped the subject. I'm wondering if I should try and persuade her to read the book

  Unless she's having doubts about the organisation she probably won't read it. Unfortunately it's all part of the mind control, at meetings they are petled with the idea that anything not published byt the WBTS is a heap of lies and any one that writes anything else must be controlled by Satan the Devil.
