Right at this moment - NO!!!! As my teenager/adult child leaves clothes in the washer so long after they have been washed, that they smell like mold. Oh yeah, and the same goes for the partially dried cloths in the dryer!!!

i mean really like them?.
4 of my 6 g'kids are now teenagers.
i can't stand them.. an old lady once told me that you've got to hate them (teenagers) before you can really love them.. i think she was on to something.. sylvia.

it's snowing outside, i'm still in bed cuz i was told to stay there and wait for something special by my eight year old son and i'm listening to npr ( tom jones is being interviewed).
i wonder how long the snowing will last.
ok, that's the end of my mini ramble via ipod.
Come on back home MrsJones. You will get to deal with a balmy 31 degrees.

.....in amount, i believe.
i think there are more former elders and servants than there are current.
if you look in a hall, it's not uncommon to see 5 ex elders just going to the meetings, doing whatever little they can do.
Some are elders and servants because they NEED the recognition.
That describes my father. I think he distanced himself from me when I was DF'd as a teenager, because he would be nothing without his elder status.
I suppose it possible that the elders who served because they truly believed became totally burned out and just stepped down

I love my teenager, but no, I don't always like her. I only have 1.5 years to go until she is no longer a teen - I am almost there - god help me!

or do to convince you that you loved them to bits?.
.
mtsgrad.
He doesn't have to say a word - his actions speak for him.
Like having dinner ready for the family when I am in school two nights a week.
Like cleaning my windshield on a cold morning (if I leave the car outside). Its the little things that make me know how cherished I truly am.

yes australia was bombed by the japanese in world war 2 in darwin....but this movie has so much more...this couple look fantastic together and the scenery gives you an idea of australias natural wonders.....will review film next week.
....must see!
My husband and I saw Australia this afternoon (matinee). We both enjoyed it and I would recommend it - just keep in mind it is very Hollywood-esque. Love Hugh Jackman and the little boy in the movie.

for me, my life as a jehovah's witness was tiring, depressing & miserable.
surrounded by negativity i felt utterly supressed & unhappy.
to carry out my 'responsibilties' became very difficult.

I agree. Although it is difficult to know how you feel (depressed/miserable) when you are so deeply entrenched in the JW lifestyle. Especially because they make you believe your unhappiness is a good thing - because you are serving Jehovah. I am a million times happier since I left - and can't even imagine going back. Glad you were able to escape as well.

my hubby is sick but he's working at home as a consultant, which consists of a lot of phone calls from bed all day and into the night.
he just completed his first deal and should be getting his fee by friday or early next week.
it's a pretty big fee and we were considering buying another bigger house in the town we now live in.
Come on home Mrs. Jones. Save that big check - you can buy a house for a reasonable amount - yes - even in the Bay Area these days.
