by berylblue in...that.jws do not take delight in the death of billions of unrighteous ones at a. i was dumbfounded, but for the life of me i can't think of any solid examples of how the witnesses absolutely do gloat over the "baddies" dying at a. i no longer have any wt publications; does anyone know where such sick sentiments can be found?
the only example i could think of is the thunderous applaus at district assemblies when the bad guys bite the dust in one of their dramas, and that is not the evidence i am seeking.
while it certainly indicates their mindset, i'd rather have concrete, black and white examples of this disgusting attitude.. thanks,.

several watchtower publications for the last 50+ years have said that the united nations (u.n.) organization ("the scarlet-colored wild beast" of revelation) would definitely be the organization that will carry out jehovah's judgment on "babylon the great" (false religion), and then, under satan's [gog of magog's] direction, the united nations organization would become "greedy", and try to attack the remaining remnant of the "anointed" jehovah's witnesses and their companions, the "great crowd" of "other sheep", and then jehovah and jesus would destroy the united nations organization, along with everyone else who was not a jehovah's witness.

The members are guilty of "speculation" again. Well where did this speculation come from anyway? Didn't the Mother WT prepare all that fine wholesome spiritual food for her childlike members to "feed" on at thier bookstudies when she force fed it to them telling them in effect you will die if you do not "swallow" this pure nourishment from Jehovah himself.? Is she now blaming them for obeying her and believing that the food is good for them and pure for comsuption.? Another Watchtower false doctrine being blamed on the poor R&F for seculating.

My close "worldly" friends and relatives were very good to us and we always remained close inspite of WT. It has been truly enlightening and a comfort to be still very close to them all and now enjoying being part of the human race along with them. They all have remained loyal freinds over the many years. JW's have no clue on what loyalty to family or friend is.

My daughter ( JW) called me today!!!!!!!
by mouthy inevery one knows( regulars on board) that my jw daughter didnt speak to me for 10 years- the when my melanie was dying in 1999,she heard i was having back problems & having a hard time lifting my melanie...she told that person she would be willing to come & help if she had the money( she lives in montreal i live in ontario) so i called her bluff & sent the money for her fare.she stayed to help my daughter 10 days.
then when my daughter died -3 days after she left.
she spoke to me on the phone said she was sorry- ( all the time she was here religion was not discussed -when christians came to visit mell she would walk out)although she worked real hard while here.

Maybe as events unfold, JWs may be identified as the False Prophet, and the Scarlet colored Beast is Watchower Poor JW rank and file are being blamed again for speculating. Isn't that because they have been force-fed the spiritual food of WT? Don't they realize that they are being "spiritually poisoned" with WT adding new recipes to the mix of false doctrines?

Isn't it truly amazing how elders can go up and lie through their teeth in a courtroom and protect a pedophile, and get away with it, but the media is the one to blame for reporting it. Every bit of what was said on that show was all true when our family was interviewed. They are calling victim/survivors liers. What about the pedophile going door to door? His whole life is a lie. That cult has so much to answer for. So glad my family is out. It is a lying, deceptive, prophecy peddling, spiritually abusive, ant-christ religion of wolves in sheeps clothing teaching false doctrines.

HELP! My JW parents are trying to steal my daughter
by calamityjane ini just phoned my daughter who is 23 years old, and she is graduating from college in toronto this june.
i thought because there were some great flight offers that i would be spontaneous and be there for her graduation and just do a mother daughter thing of celebrating.
well i just phoned her, to tell her that i would like to be there, and she hits me with the bombshell that my parents will be there and staying with her.

Dearest Calamityjane, Everyone here has given you excellent advice. You are her mother, and dispite all the JW enmeshment and emotional blackmail your parents are introducing into her life at this young and tender age, she needs you more than ever to be there as her mother. Go and enjoy this once in a lifetime occasion with her and create a memory that is devoid of any Jehovah Witness past history crap. Your parents are counting on you to be the emotional, bad, aposatate black sheep, and believe me they will subtly try to use all this past history between you and them to initiate behavior in you that will make you look unmotherly in your daughter's eyes. This is a JW tactic. They are using past history to create a wedge between you and your daughter to "win her over without a word" into thier cult. It will be very hard but you can do this. Don't allow guilt to make you feel like a bad mother for raising your daughter in that rechid religion. We all have been heaped enough guilt to last a life time. You can pull this off CJ. Just go there as her strong mother, there to share her day, not as the bad little girl of your parents who are constantly wanting to put you in that roll to make you feel diminished in your daughter's eyes. Be kind to them and let your daughter grow to see them for what they really are.
As for them bringing her abandoning father into her life, this is so dispicable, and manipulating and so much like that cultish thinking. Doesn't matter what he did to you and your daughter, he is in "good standing" now. They want her to see he is good and you are the bad little apostate. Remember, don't fall for this. Let your daughter see for herself how disfunctional this is. She will in time as long as you stay there for her as her mother without giving into all the JW manipulation. They will try to bring all this up at the graduation. Make lite of it in front of your daughter, then if you need to, go to your room at the end of the day and punch your pillow and cry your eyes out. Away from all of them.
you are her mother, you were strong enough to leave the mind conrol of that cult, and as her mother you are eager to share new beginnings and memories with her and eventually with your future grandchildren. You have broken the cycle of abuse inflicted by Watchtower.

by ``connecting the dots" between the leadership's admonition to mind one's manners at the hotel, to tip approriately, to avoid ``double-dipping'' by eating and then loading up on unapproved takeaways for lunch at hotels that prvide complimentary breakfast, to refrain from losing all inhibitions in after-hour socializing and to forego the donning of outlandish skin-tight (or conversely loose fitting ``hip-hop" outfits) forte duration of the assembly, a picture quite different from the idealized notion of jws being a worldwide fraternity of solidly mature, temperate ministers who lives find fulfilment only in the service of god and their fellow man.. what sort of adults need to be lectured in such terms, let alone a group that boasts of its aloofness from satan's world?
what does it suggest about leadership's awareness of how far removed from reality the rank and file is from their literature's stylized imagery?

That really got me. Who the hell were they to tell you what hotel you had to stay in. The Society does not tolerate those who go against thier controls. Just looking back on the rules and regulations makes me embarrased that I even belonged to such a religion. Those "brothers" got off on reporting the names of those hotel rebels to the PO. My husband even got talked to about not staying in a recommended hotel while we were on vacation. Gawd, can you imagine?
