  my husband told them he had nothing to say, and if they are going to make any announcement from the platform that slanders our name in any way we will sue them personally, and if we do meet with them we would only do it if our lawyers come and to tell jr brown and mario marino to come also.

  Yeah, they are like robots. They must have a bug up thier anal oriface after all these weeks following Christmas, suddenly now they want to meet with us. The CO must be coming and they have to look like they are keeping the congregation clean. My husband says the joke of the whole thing is that everyone in that religion is out to get each other and everybody else. We knew they were all riding by to check out our house lit up. Can we get them for stalking??

  Roybatty, this will be no consolation to you but my daughter, while she was still in High School used to teach a childrens dancing class with the wife of the elder who called today. Guess where it was Yep, at the ol YHWA, better known as the Young Hebrew Womens Assoc.

  Why Not Reject 1st Century Org. as God's ?

  one of the biggest cause of confusion among loyal ones to the wt org.

  today, and those dissenting, is the very concept of what to expect from jehovah's organization on earth.

  Explorer, all of these are good comments, and there is much wisdom in some of the things being said here. I still don't know how to copy some of the posts here and quote them. So I will just say that that Indireneed, Utopian Reformist, Adonai438 touched on all of what I feel, and so did a lot of others. I don't believe in an Organization, but I believe in the pricipals of goodness, kindness, and compassion. There is goodness in most people for the most part. If what you say is true, about God eventually straightening out the problems in the congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses, than the same principal will apply to all the religions that are trying to follow what the believe is what Christ taught. In the book of Revelation, where it speaks about the congregations, Ephesus, Laodacia etc, were all experiencing problems that are common in all the Christian religions today. Some were tolerating idolatry, some immorality some had lost love, and so on. So now, how does the religion of Jehovah's Witnesses stand out as clean in comparison, accept that they hide what they do. Everything is a secret so as not to "bring reproah" on Jehovah's name. And, I have heard many devout witnesses say "well we are the only ones who preach the Kingdom Message",.... Well, I ask what Kingdom Message is that? The Good News of the Kingdom according to Watchtower Organization, a Publishing Company? Their message,really is not good news for the majority of mankind who Christ died for. The kingdom message is being talked about all over the earth by all religions that are Christian, namely that Christ died for mankind and therefore we have the way to God's favor though we are all sinners. Human kindness and compassions was the kingdom message Christ taught, and I don't think there is anybody in the Watchtower Organization who can compare to Mother Theresa in that regard. Will she be destroyed forever or not granted a resurrection according to Watchtower because she is not part of the Organization? Who is ANYONE to say what God would do or not do, how presumptuous. Explorer, continue learning and asking questions you will find your answers. And there is goodness in people and Jesus knew that.

  PATHO..... You are right. We did not lie or tell them anything other than we would not answer any questions without a lawyer present, and if they decide to make a public announcement we would take legal action against them personally. I hope they just let it drop but I doubt it. I agree with Ahshitaka about them going after like hounds now. It is really quite pathetic really. These grown men have nothing better to do than hang over each other's house in the middle of the day delving into our own personal business.

  I'm sure by now they believe they have evidence because one of the elders said he was a witness to the fact our house was decorated for Christmas, and the other elder asked if that was true or not. We told them we would not answer any of their questions and that we have not attended and would just like to be left alone. Thank you for the kind words and support.

  Hi Utopian, yes my husband just got off the phone with Bill, and he is sending something. But basically, there are no witnesses in the family that will talk to us because of our stand on the sexual abuse and the articles that have come out in the papers. None of our friends are talking to us now since then and now the few we have kept in contact with have started backing off since we celebrated Christmas. I have been in this organization long enough to know the writing on the wall, so the choice to celebrate the holidays will have no bearing in our fear of changing our relationship with my son in law. His family has been a major part in making sure our "friends" have no more to do with us.

  Ashi, thanks for the words also. I am sure you know my family, since you come from this area, and you must know the elders here also. In fact my daughter is married to the brother of the person you mentioned a while back whom you felt did not approve of something you chose to do. Trust me when I tell you that this family has no room to judge us. There are major problems there.

  We have not gone to meetings for almost 3 years, and although we still were being associated with up until a little over a year ago, we have since been shunned since we spoke out in the news media along with Bill Bowen, over the issues of child abuse in the organization. That initiated the shunning even though we never formally put a letter of DA. in to the congregation. This year for the first time we celebrated Christmas and that is what they used as the excuse for the sudden phone call. Although our entire family has stopped going, our son in law is the son of an elder. They called this morning to ask us if we had celebrated Christmas and we told them we did not have to answer them but that if they made any annoucement publically to slander our name we would sue the body of elders. They said why do we have to make this a legal thing.
