  hey everyone,.

  i was moved by the sad news about ima and his poor son's kindness to follow his dad's last wishes.

  (see thread entitled, "please read") anyway, it struck me as odd last night that i actually shed tears over this man.

  Hi DJ,

  I haven't posted here often in the last few months because life outside the Watchtower, among the human race has been good, and I have taken steps to shed the cult teachings that kept us blinded for so long. But, yes, this is like a family here on this board, bickering and all, and it is here that I have come over the last few years to find comfort, to vent, to research, to cry, and to celebrate, and to mourn the loss of those who have been taken ill here. Your are right to post what you did, because we truly are a sort of family here.

  NBC Contacts me again / JW Abuse Issues

  the issue of child molestation among jehovah's witnesses is not going to go away ... no amount of the watchtower society trying to ignore it, or watching silly videos about the ancient jewish men, korah, dathan, and abiraham will change the hard fact that the watchtower bible & tract society and its associated organizations must and will be forced to change their policies on how they treat minor jehovah's witness children.

  today, nbc once again contacted me for additional information and details to help them in their understanding and investigation of this serious issue.

  i know of others being contacted throughout the united states ... many of whom will provide significant information and details that is going to make this issue come out into the light of day more and more ... .

  Amazing, I agree with you about the issue of child molestation being so big in Watchtower, it isn't going to go away anytime soon. It sure is fitting that they are really being bomabarded by it from every angle. They deserve every bit of it. After all of the attention they brought against the other churches of "Christendom" and mocking them for their pedophile problems. NBC has also been in contact with us regarding the March. I am looking forward to being there to represent the lambs Watchtower has tried to get rid of while keeping the wolves who hurt them.

  APPEAL COMMITTEE CALLED OUR LAWYER

  our lawyer contacted us to let us know the appeal committee phoned her to let her know that they were upholding the decision to disfellowship us for "apostasy".

  the elder also stated that we may "qualify for re-instatement after performing certain acts--which we are aware of".

  eww, sounds kind of seamy to me.

  Thanks Sam and Ozzie. Even though I am glad to be free of this religion and it's spiritual abuse and enslaving lies, I feel a little depressed and let down because the announcement of our disfellowshipment and the label of "apostasy" is perpetrative and enabled by those who believe Watchtower and carry out thier false teachings. If I run into these people at a Mall or in any other public place, I can only view them as any other person who would cause harm to me and my family in some sort of deranged way. I would avoid them and not give them permission to carry out thier perpetrating actions that they are even expected to do with thier own family members. So un-natural as it is.

  i have been reading from other bibles and comparing them to the wt.

  translation in the nwt and found it interesting that the information that they use in the reasoning book regarding apostates is taken from jude and the experience of korah with moses.

  it seems they use this scripture to identify elders as the "glorious ones", and anyone speaking against the society is compared to korah speaking against moses.

  I've said this before also Lieu. The Watcthower has made itself into a fat golden cow for everyone to bow to. They have no respect for Christlike teachings of love. They have abandoned the mediator and dance around thier own Watchtower god.

  The elders who believe they should be the glorious ones have brought in this false teaching and in doing so they themselves have spoken abusively of the angels.

  last night, my wife zazu, had a stroke.

  she is in the hospital, and will be there for a least a week.

  she can still think clearly and converse.

  Thanks Chester and Lieu, I hope this thread helps those who have been labeled by the Watchtower as apostates worthy of dying like Korah, to be able to see how this Organiztion spins a web of lies to protect itself in the eyes of it's members.

  before my dad went into surgery he asked that i contact the people on this board and let them know how much it ment to him much it ment to him over the past month or so to be able to talk with all of you.. this is one of the few things in his life he could still enjoy.dad wanted to especially thank craig (ona ) for accepting him and apologies for anything he said that might have offended you.. my father was in so much pain over the past seven years ,god must have thought it was time,dad passed a few houres after surgery.. dad asked not to have a service and will be cremated than placed in an urn ( as he said "so he can keep an eye on mom" ) we all loved him deeply and he will be missed.

  i will leave the company email should anyone want to,i will print them out for mom and the family to read.. again thanks to all, our love is with each and every one of you.. matthew mc cune [email protected]

  This obsession WT has in using Korah every time they get paranoid about being exposed for what they really are is getting a little old. I don't understand how a thinking person can't see for themselves how much they have twisted this biblical example to fit themselves being spoken against by "disgruntled' witnesses". I have recycled an old thread regarding this under the titles of "Glorious ones, and twisting the Scriptures" and posted it up again on the board. I really hope that by doing so from time to time, it may show lurkers here that if you truly do some of your own research you can see how WT has used the Bible to foster it's own cultish lies.

  This thread seems appropriate to recycle again in view of the latest WT threat of using Korah in thier scare tactics to the R&F. Sounds like the GB releasing the new Video mentioned in AMNESIANs thread is thier latest fleece on the flock. I think the GB got tired of holding to original teachings of the biblical leaders of old and built themselves a big golden cow named Watchtower in Brooklyn.
