my high: lastnight curled up on the couch with my two year old daughter watching " my brother bear" we've watched it about 5 times in the last two days.. .
my low: been feeling really lonely adn alone this week, disfellowshipping really taking it's toll.

High: Found out that the new job that I applied for is now between me and just one other applicant.
Low: While surfing I accidentally collided with my neice. I hurt her back and arm, making me feel wretched, and her surfboard hit me in the head and left a huge lump and one hellacious headache (which I deserved for being stupid).

That is ridiculous isn't it? The kicker is that Universal has not been taking care of the attractions. We noticed that it was getting really shabby looking and worn around the edges. They have a lot of gall to be charging that kind of money.

I also have to say the same with you. I appreciate your passion as well, however, I still do not understand this:

What is there to get angry over? It is just different people with different (opposing) ideas. Just because a person stays calm doesn't mean they have compromised their belief or their convictions. There is room for different opinions and angles on political issues and I hope that you and Yeru both continue to voice them. Now that's the only nice thing I am going to say to you and Yeru...you Rat Bastard Republicans!

i spent father's day weekend in the foothills of washington's cascade mountains, a couple of hours north of my home in edmonds.
we were fishing glacially fed streams and creeks, colored a milky blue from glacial runoff and snowmelt.

What a great catch, and what great pictures (you sure know how to hurt a guy)! The water is gorgeous and the story about your trip made me want to jump in the Jeep and head for the mountains. That is one thing that Florida is missing, so I am going to have to plan a trip to Montana or Wyoming just so that I can wet a line. You truly are lucky to have such beauty near you. The Pacific Northwest sure is a pretty place.

Yeru...you are at it again! Every time you get agitated at what people say about Bush, or positive comments about MM, you engage in inaccurate hyperbole. I don't believe I read anywhere that anyone thinks we took down the Taliban to build a pipeline, but somehow in your simplistic, limited field of vision that is what you have concluded. Trying to reason with you is akin to bashing my head into a brick wall, so I will not attempt to do so, but suffice it to say that you are way off...and...you just don't get it. All I can say is that I hope you are in the minority in this country. We need open minds to deal with a world economy. Closed minds like yours are what make people around the world hate us (and I'm not talking about the middle east).
