Julian Beever is an English artist who is famous for his art on the pavements of England, France, Germany, USA, Australia and Belgium. Its peculiarity? Beever gives his drawings an anamorphosis view, his images are drawn in such a way which gives them three dimensionality when viewing from the correct angle. It's amazing !!!

Sad news from Maui

we went to our favorite beach, met up with some of our local friends.

we don't have much in the way of details - but heard some devasting news that ari (well known to seattle area exjw's and i am sure by many on the board) killed himself sometime over last weekend.

he was so excited about moving to maui, and starting a new life here.

What a nice guy Puternut was! He was posting when I first joined the board. I really liked his sense of humor, reading some of his posts made a gloomy day seem brighter. My heart feels sick that he was in so much distress, and that his family denied him love. I realize more and more how fragile life can be.

Jacksonville is where we used to have our District Coventions too. I was baptized there in 1980. Maybe you were one of the cute guys I was checking out a few rows ahead of me???!!!

I used to work food service there all of the time. If I had a dime for every fruit bag I filled.....

The cheese Danishes were the best!

I also used to love going to the very top of the bleachers, and get a birds eye perspective. Actually, occasionally there would be a bird flying around up there. Too bad I never though of shooing it towards the stage, so it would take a dump on the speaker! It would have been fitting from all of the Bulls*** that was spewed from the stage...

Really folks, this thread is highly disgusting. I'm shocked at how unsanitary many people are regarding animals.

It would probably freak you out to know that my Dog eats from our forks when we give her a bite of our food. She is so gentle about it that her teeth never touch the prongs to the fork. She is such an intregal part of the family that it doesn't bother us in the least.

i love my cats as if they were my own children.

i was there when they were born and even cut one of the umbilical cords.

they are part of my family and yes, i do pick them up, hug them and kiss them everyday.

I hug and kiss my Dog, and tell her that I love her at least 20 times a day. Everytime I am near her I either pet her, hug, or kiss her, either on the top of the head, or on her snout between her eyes, or her paws, or her back. She sleeps with me every night, and we always end up being each other's pillow. She always makes sure that a part of her body is touching mine when she sleeps, and she snuggles up right into me. She is the best companion I have ever had in all my life.
