My Father used to wear Old Spice. Every meeting he would drench himself in it, and his Bible, Attache' case, and everything he touched smelled of it. I can still smell it even though my nose hasn't been around it in many, many years.
I used to wear Florida Water and Bay Rhum while growing up. They had a nice, spicy fragrance. My Mother used to get mad at me when I would put it on, and she would always ask me why I insisted on smelling like food. It wasn't like I was smearing KFC on myself, it was a nice spicy fragrance with overtones of cinnamon and cloves. The Florida water had more of a citrusy, spicy fragrance. It kinda reminded me of an old-time Barber shop smell. I was constantly complimented on it at the Kingdom Hole when I wore either one. I recently found the Florida Water again, and treated myself to a bottle, and occasionally I wear it even if I am going nowhere and just staying put in the house.
A couple people have mentioned Sun-in. When I was 22, I decided I wanted Blonde Highlights. So I went to the store and bought a bottle of Super Sun-in, sprayed it on my Jet-Black hair, and laid out in the sun for over an hour. When I came back inside, I looked in the mirror, and my hair was Garfield the Cat Orange! Bright, Flourescent Orange! It was also a meeting night, so I had to go to the meeting that way. I was so embarrassed. People were laughing and joking about it. Thankfully the next day, a Sister dyed my hair back to my natural black color.
